About this transcript
This is an automatic, word-for-word transcript of the video, produced from YouTube’s captions. It records the message exactly as it was spoken, so it has not been tidied into written prose and may contain misheard words, spelling mistakes, missing punctuation or gaps — names, places and Scripture references are especially prone to being transcribed incorrectly.

abs[Music]well good morning children happy Sabbathto you uh nice to see you guys and girlshere this morning so I have a questionfor you todayuh hands up if you are 10 years old anyof you 10 years old okay are you 10years old young man no all right okayanybody else here 10 you're 10 yes allright well let me take a look at yourfingers can I see your fingers hold themout okay yeah they're kind of okay so Iwant to tell you about somethinghappened to me when I was 10 years oldnow I have a twin brother he's sittingup in the balcony and uh when I was 10years old I was really really reallyreally skinny okay I didn't even have ashadow I was that skinny now we wereskinny because in England we hadrationing after World War II and we hadto share our food with with my twinbrother you see so uh we were skinnylittle boys and when we were 10 yearsold just like you mom and dad said to usyou're going to go to summer camp in thenorth of Wales on the Atlantic Ocean bythe coast now the Atlantic is not likethe Caribbean or the Caribbean theAtlantic is deep and dark and very verycoldand so one morning the uh the campinstructor said now boys we're all goingto go kayaking through the AtlanticOcean a mile offshore and you're goingto go to an island where you're going tohave a picnic then we're going to kayakall the way back through the AtlanticOcean to the coast to the beach in Walesand remember the Atlantic Ocean is whatdeep dark and very cold yes it's deepdark and very cold and you get theseenormous sharks called whale sharks innor they swim around with their mouthsopen and the mouth is so big it couldeat a small car they're enormoussharks and so I got into my kayak on thebeach you know the kayak is like a longcanoe and it's covered on top and yousit in a hole in the top and I sat in mykayak and the instructor said put yourspray deck on now when you're kayakingin the sea the waves come over you in akayak you don't go on top of them thewaves go over you from time to time andso the water runs along the kayak and ifit would run into the kayak and youwould sink if you didn't have a spray deand a spray deck you tie it around yourwaist and it's made of rubber and itstretches out and it Clips under theedge of the seat in which you're sittingand that clip is made of elastic andit's very strongelastic so I put my spray deck on Iclipped it in I could just about manageit with my skinny littlefingers and the instructor he walkedalong the all the boys with their kayaksalong the beach and he said you there Isaid yes sir he said where's your toggleI said toggle toggle what toggle he saidyour emergency toggle needs to be on topof your spray deck you see when youcapsize in a kayak and you upside downlike that Under the Sea um what you'resupposed to do is not panic okay and youcan't post a selfie from under the seayou have to put your hands beside youthis is all upside down and your eyesyou can just see the water around it'sdark and blue and very very cold in theAtlantic and and you run your handsforward and when your hands meet at thefront there on a piece of string is awooden toggle and you hold it and youpull hard towards yourself and thatreleases the spray deck then you falldown and you come up for air and this issupposed to happen you know when youcapsize and if you can't ReleaseYourself you kind of bang on the bottomof the canoe to let people know thatyou're drowning you see and then peoplecome and they come and help you or atleast you hope they help you so um theinstructor said Vine he said put yourtogg on correctly so I tried to pull offmy spray deck and you know what Icouldn't pull my spray deck off I pulledand pulled my skinny little fingers halfSt couldn't pull that spray deck off sothe instructor he be bent down then hepulled it off for me he was a big guyprobably s single kid with all thatstrength and he he put my spray deck onproperly with my toggle on the frontwhere I could reach it and then he gotthe front of my kayak and he dragged meout into the waves and in that part ofthe world when the waves come in thereare big big waves and you have to getthrough the waves to get to the realantic ocean and so the water is comingover you like this and you paddle ashard as you can then another big wavecomes over you and you hold your breathand you come up and then you keeppaddling and we got out to the AtlanticOcean and we were paddling in theAtlantic Ocean in the in the AtlanticOcean it's not like Mich like Michiganthe waves in the Atlantic Ocean are longthey're like long mountains that go up100 yards and down 100 yards and whenyou're at the top you can see a lot butwhen you go down you can't see anythingexcept water all around you and we werepaddling out and every time you come tothe top of wave look and there's theisland in the distance and we paddlinghard and suddenly a wave caught me andflipped me over like that and I washanging upside down in the water and asyou go over what's the last thing youshould do as you go under in a kayakwhat would youdo take a deep breath take and he washanging under waterer and the water wasreally cold and deep and very very darkI opened my eyes and I expected to seethis mouth of a shark coming at me likethat no no but there was no shark therethat day and I just seen Jaws on a planefrom America and I was terrified ofsharks at the little age I could hearthe going in the background and I waswaiting for that dorsal fin to comethrough the water me but thankfully hewent for somebody else that day and Ihung underneath under the boat there Ireached my hands I came around to thefront and there was the what did I callitle toggle there was a toggle I got jetlag at the moment so okay got brain fadetemporarily and there was the toggle andbefore I pulledit the this this thought flashed throughmy mind and said Conrad God has justpreserved your life for apurpose and God sent his guardian angelin the form of that man on the beach whochecked your spray deck and if he hadn'tchecked that spray deck you would bedrowning in the middle of the AtlanticOcean right now and this sense ofgratitude to God at the age of 10flashed through my heart it lasted forabout a split second cuz I was cold downthere and I reached I got that toggleand I pulled hard and I came up for airgas ing for breath and the others wereall the kayaks all gathered around mewatching to see what would happen and uhuh none of them had thought to dive inafter me but um with friends like thatwho needs enemies you might say and Ilived and I'm alive today today I'm livetoday and the lesson for me and for usboys and girls is simply this God has apurpose and a plan for each of yourlives God has a plan for you and God hasa plan for you and God has a plan foryou as well and God's purposes for youextend intoeternity God's purpose for you is tolive for eternity inheaven and to help make that happen Goddoes many incredible things for us butone of the things God does is God sendsAngels into our lives Jesus says inMatthew 18 that every child has aguardian angel who is ever before Godeach of you has a guardian angel andjust as God saved me that morning in thecold deep deep and dark Atlantic Oceanfor his purpose so God is saving you dayby day with his angels in order that hemight accomplish his perfect will inyour lives so when you go to school thisweek when you go home today I want youto remember that a first of all God hasa plan for your life it's a plan to giveyou hope it's a plan to give you goodlife on this Earth and it's a plan togive you the blessings of Eternity in aplace where every tear would be wipedaway and God sends his angel into yourlives in order to protect you and toguide you in the paths you should takeso as you go through this week rememberthat God has a plan for you he has youhave your own Angel and if God be foryou then who can be against you you maygo back to your seats thank you[Music]I was amazed as I read aboutAlonzo T Jones it was around 188889 that he was our champion forreligiousliberty Lonzo T Jones this was a timewhen a man by the name ofRM King was sent to prison because hewas hoing in his Potato Patch on Sundayit was a time when he was also arrestedwhen he was harvesting corn on Sunday itwas a time when at Jones went before theSenate and he was toaddress and go against a man by the nameof SenatorHenry what was it Blair that's rightHenryBlair and there at Jones it was amazingto see where there was times when he wasbrought before that he said that thewords that he were to say were sometimeswritten in err or on the walls which isgood news to us because the time iscoming when we'll be brought before thesenate or we'll be brought beforeprelates and judges and people inAuthority that God's holy spirit canmove upon us and we too can have thewords but we need to stay connected toJesus and it was in 1892that even our own 23rdpresident BenjaminHarrison putintolegislation the national Sundaylaw at Jones was our cry back then todayour cry goes through the form of thereligious libertymagazine which this magazine goes intothe hands of many from Ministers ofother denom ations to to authorities inthe Senate Congress even into our handsgiving us the cry that lets us realizethe times we're living in and thereligious Liberties that we have ouroffering today is going towards thereligious liberty magazine we all have acry last week I sat in my little woodenrocking chair in the wee hours of themorning and there I meditated and saidLord what would you have me to say tothis people on this sabbathday and the impression came to my mindand he indicated to me get the penciland paper out and write this down so Iwouldn'tforget because we all have a loudcry and the cry is almosthome almost home almost home Lord we crywe're almosthome as we see the sinful Nations graspthe hand of counterfeit oblations mayyour people march with Cadence to thedrum beat from your throne almost homealmost home Lord we cry we're almosthome when the threat of persecutioncomes a knocking at our doors we willwave the banner triumphant for we willsee we're almost home almost home almosthome Lord we cry we're almost home forthat day is quickly coming when we'llshout that Victorious cry for on thatday and at that moment we will say andnot deny we are home we arehome praise God we are home through theblood of Jesusmerits we pointed outvery well that the Sabbath is a memorialuh not only to God's work in creationbut to his work in redeeming us and thesong that we are going to sing umoutlines that process it begins withexplaining how in the beginning um Godcreated us and then shares the darknessof the fall of humanity but then thelight that Christ brought when he cameto this world to redeem us and the giftthat he gave us in dying for our sinsand ends with a praise for what he'sdone for[Music]us in thebeginning you H over the wateryou brokenunbrokensilence you spoke light into[Music]darkness and there fromthe front here and I mentioned uh toPastor David Oakley sitting next to methat I just long to be in heaven aboveand one of the things we're going to doin heaven is to sing songs of praise toGod and I look forward to that day andwhat a beautiful day that will be uhwhen we all get to heaven so I uh uh ifyou have your bulletins with you you'llnotice there's a sheet in there likethis I just want to keep that handywe're going to be coming to that um aswe work our way through our sermon thismorning team here uh we have very activereligious liberty team I want to thankthem all for their participation theirsupport their encouragement theircounsel as we work on religious libertyissues here at the Village religiouslibertycommittee and it's a privilege to standbefore you here this morning as we weshare the word ofGod let's bow our heads and ask God toopen our hearts so shall wepray father God the streets ofWashington yesterday the divisions inournation but father division do not occurby chance they occur because of whatpeople have been taught they occurbecause of what goes on in the humanheart and father we would be celed amongthose who are pure in heart because wewould see you one day father we would becounted among the peacemakers for wewish to be called yourchildren and so father today as WeGather in your presence I ask that umthat you will speak to each of ourhearts father may we be like thoseancient Israelites who were recorded asunderstanding the times in which theylived and father may we be people ofHope who Point people from a world whereeverybody has blood on their hands to asavior who also has blood on his butfather only Jesus is innocent of theblood on hishands so father speak to our hearts thismorning I ask that you speak through methat your spirit bring conviction andconversion fresh into my life and intothe lives of all who are present hereare watching at home on the internet wethank you Father for hearing this prayerin jesus' name we askamen now today at 2:00 after pot luck ifyou plan to stay for the afternoon weask that you wolf downyourum it is going here we have a testimonyfrom a lady an individual who umrecently gave her life to Jesus Christlost everything in the process here inthe United States uh fled her home forfear of an honor killing and we'll behearing her testimony we will be lookingat the life of Roger M Williams whoworked on religious liberty in the stateof Rhode Island and we'll also be takinga look at the First Amendment DefenseAct it's an act of Congress goingthrough Congress right now that directlyaffects the sth Day Adventist Church andour religious Liberties in this countryand um please um Fellowship for the fewminutes you have then please come backwe will start at 2:00 um this afternoonso our sermon today is entitled DarwinHitler and Jesus Christ and when I wasgrowing up my father grew up during theBlitz the blitz was when the Nazis werebombing London and the other cities ofEngland uh many homes were destroyed uhmy grandfather was a preacher in the 7Adventist Church and he was proclaimingin London during the blitz that Hitlerwould not win World War II in fact hewould not win the Battle of Britainbecause in 1940 only Britain wasstanding against Hitler the rest ofEurope had fallen and my grandfather'spreaching was simply this Daniel 2 saysthe nations of Europe will not jointogether and if all the nations ofEurope have been conquered under theNazi flag and only Britain stands alonethat means Britain cannot by definitionlose the Battle of Britain and ashistory tells us um Hitler lost theBattle of Britain and he went on to loseWorld War 2 um but my father had in hislibrary at home many books on World WarII exploring every possible aspects andI used to spend many fruitful hoursmining those books after school um uhbecause in Britain the war had aprofound impact on our national psycheum but uh when I was 20 1920 years oldmy brother was heading off to Poland toteach at our Seminary there at podovaLea and on the way we stopped off ataitz otherwise known as o oim it's insouthern Poland aitz is uh in mostpeople's minds synonymous with theHolocaust and we walked around aitz youcan go there today and if you ever go toEurope I would strongly encourage you togo toaitz um it is a Profprofoundly I would how describe it youjust fall silent as you walk throughashz maybe the best way to describe itum but our sermon today is entitledDarwin Hitler and Jesus Christ and so umI want to explore today how we got fromDarwin to Adolf Hitler to what'shappening in America today there is alink and how do we respond as Christianswith the Liberty that God has given uswith the time that we have how do werespond to what has happened thedivisions in our streets and in ourschools and in our politics so um we'llstart off by going back to um a famousor an Infamous Englishman a guy calledCharles Darwin and in 1859 he publisheda book that is commonly known as theOrigin of Species and having publishedthat book immediately a controversybegan to rage about not whetherorganisms arose through natural orSupernatural means but really on themoral and the ethical implications ofthe theory of evolution now many folksin England rejoiced in the freedom fromGod that the theory theory of evolutionbrings and there was an Americanphilosopher called Daniel Bennett hewrote that evolutionary theory is theuniversal acid that dissolves alltraditional ideas of religion moralityand God in 18 uh 1890 a guy calledRichard goldi who was um a philosopheras well he wrote this he became ageneticist in the early 20th century hewrote enthusiast ically aboutevolutionary theory and he wrote thatEvolution was the key to everything andcould replace all the beliefs and Creedswhich one was discarding there was nocreation no God no Heaven and Hell onlyEvolution now as I said many peopleobjected to Evolution precisely on thosegrounds because if evolution is truethere is no God there is no creationthere is no Heaven There is no hellthere is no purpose life and no meaningand you might as well go home today andhang yourself that is The Logicalimplication of believing inevolution there was a friend of CharlesDarwin guy called Alam Sedwick AdamSedrick he was a professor at CambridgeUniversity in the 1860s and70s and hewrote a letter to Darwin this is what hewrote he says there is a moral or ametaphysical part of nature as well asphysical a man who denies this is deepin the Meer of folly you that is Darwinhave ignored this link were it possibleto break it Humanity in my mind wouldsuffer damage that might brutalize itand sink the human race into a lowergrade of degradation than into any whichit has fallen since its written recordstell of its history and so the peoplearound Darwin understood that ifevolution really is true we are openingthe door to the descent into madnessthat ultimately occurred at the time ofthe Holocaust we'll see why thathappened in a moment but Charles Darwinwas not oblivious to the implicationsthe moral and ethical implications ofthe theory of evolution and part of theproblem was the title of the book Originof Species because that is not the titleof the book the full title of the bookis on the screen and if you take amoment to look at the full title you'llstart to realize why people were havingproblems with the Origin ofSpecies On the Origin of Species bymeans of natural selection or thepreservation of the favored races in thestruggle forlife that's the full title of the bookDarwin was writing at a time of Westerncolonialism when the Western Powers wereconquering around the world let's speakbluntly the white Europeans wereexpanding their control around the worldand he writes a book that talks aboutthe favored races in the struggle forlife people understood the implicationsof what Darwin was saying Darwin himselfexplained what he meant by this writinglater in his life he wrote in 1871 in alater book called The Descent of Man andselection in relation to sex 1871 thisis what he wrote at some future periodnot very distant as measured by thecenturies the Civilized races of Man bywhich you meant the Europeans willalmost certainly exterminate and replacethroughout the world the Savageraces Charles Darwin is the hero of thesecular world is he not there areplaques in his in his honor statues inhis honor and yet people fail torecognize what he was actually talkingabout these are his writings he thenwent on to um say later on1881 looking to the world no verydistant date what an endless number ofthe lower races will have to beeliminated by the higher civilized racesI.E the white Europeans throughout theworld this is what Darwin was getting athe was providing a scientificexplanation justification forcolonialism that when the white manspreads around the world and enslaves anexterminates there is an underlyingrationale for that it was a very clearlythought out rationale now Darwin himselfdid wrestle with the issue of moralityhe denied that morality has anySupernatural origin he believed thatmorality is something that has evolvedand you argued for it this way he arguedthat those groups within a species thatshow more cooperation then those groupsin the species that are more competitivewell those groups that show morecooperation they ultimately Triumph inthe struggle within a species andtherefore it is good to cooperate and toshow altruistic Behavior because that ishow you guarantee your part of thespecies that you will survive and theothers will fade away that was hisargument for for um morality he deniedthe concept of Free Will arguing that weare subject to the laws of causation andrandom evolutionary biology the same asany otherspecies now Charles Darwin's writingsspread around the world and they spreadacross Europe they went to France theycame to America they had a large impactin England and they had a large impactin Germany when those writings came toGermany they were eagerly received andby the early 1900s Germany was in astate of ethical and moral crisisDarwinism promoted secularism and thedarwinists sought for a secularevolutionary replacement forjudeo-christian ethics and two movementsdeveloped within Germany first of allwhat were known as the social darwinistsand secondly the movement known as theeugenicists the people who believe inEugenics will come to that in a minutebut the social darwinists argued thatSociety should reject any institutionthat prevented natural selection and umone of the things they rejected wasbiblical marriage uh secondly theyargued for eugenics and Eugenics isbasically the idea that humans shouldmake reproductive choices that promoteevolutionaryprogress now this constant stress onphysical health and Eugenics withinGermany gave rise to health reformers inGermany it's ironic that at the sametimes the Adventists were proclaimingthe health message around the world theNeo the the before the proton Nazis thethere the evolutionary biologists ofGermany were proclaiming exactly thesame message in Germany in the 1900early 1910 early 1920 period people werepromoting the the the abstinence fromtobacco alcohol tea and coffee can youbelieve it not because your body is thetemple of God but because this promotesevolutionary progress Temperance reformwas promoted by evolutionary companiesum now we've uh we've missed somethingthere okay so in in 1908promoted move forwardandsuddenly individuals must reach an evenhigher level of perfection if thepossibility exists init where are we exists in it through thedestruction of the less well-endowedindividual for the more excellentlyendowed to win space laban's real livingroom for the expansion of its progenyfinal sentence is chilling the stateonly has an interest in preserving themore excellent life at the expense ofthe less excellenttake a moment just think about what thisguy is saying a leading German zoologistin in1880 and so these ideas developed withinGermany in particular uh there's theGerman malt coffee substitute advertfrom1908 and um then D if you look at theOrigin of Species itself go online Itried to find it in Andrew's Library Icouldn't find it thankfully but I wentonline and I went through it and thefinal paragraph Origin of Species hasthese words words it says thus from thewar of nature from famine and death themost exalted object which we are capableof conceiving namely the production ofhigher animals directlyfollows this is the Origin of Speciesthis book that our Western Worldpromotes almost as if it is the the newscriptures and yet in darwinian thoughtdeath is the engine for evolutionaryprogress this is the implication of whathe's saying the more death the moreevolutionary progress in the Christianworldview death is the final enemy to bedestroyed in The evolutionary worldviewdeath is the engine for evolutionaryprogress and in order to to furtherevolutionary progress you kill off manymore people you kill off the inferior inorder to allow the Superior in societyliving room and access to the resourceswith which to live um Von Gruber GermanProfessor 1909 he wrote this the neverceasing struggle is according to Darwinnot useless it clears away the malformedthe weak and the inferior among thegenerations and thus secures the futurefor the fit thus only through theinexorable extermination of the negativevariance within our society does itprovide living space for the strong andits strong Offspring and keeps thespecies healthy and strong and able tolive are you getting this messageyes Darwin is the hero of our modernseculars they have little idea of whathe actually wrote or the philosophicalimplications of his theory Von GR thisGerman Professor recognizes that it isonly through the extermination of thenegative variance within a society thatsomehow Society decides who shall liveand who shall die and Society has aresponsibility to eliminate the unfitthe sick the malformed etc etc in orderthat those who are fit and healthy andstrong have better access to theresources with which to live this is thedirect result of darwinian thought andso um within Germany in the early 1900sa significant debate erupted about theSan of Life having denied inevolutionary biology any San any conceptof the sanctity of life um debateserupted relating to infanticideeuthanasia abortion and suicide thesefour factors the individual's life hadno significance other than to contributeto the evolutionary progress of thehuman species and if death is thenatural engine of evolutionary progressthen evolutionary progress can only beassured through the elimination ofmultitudes the healthy thus have a moralduty to eliminate theunhealthy and so it was that in Europein the early 1900s eugenicists andpsychiatrists Drew up lists of theinferior that is those who are ready forrational elimination this included thedisabled the sick the weak the alcoholicthe criminal and the mentally deficientthe strong were defined alternatively asthe fit the strong the healthy theintelligent the sober or the pure theirinferior were referred to as socialballast and pestilent and peoplediscussed the financial cost of societyof allowing such people to remain alivebelieving that the fit must flourish andthe unfit must disappear eugenicistsfocused on ways to promote reproductionamong the superior and to preventreproduction among the inferior sin wasredefined no longer to be homosexualityor or fornication or adultery thosebiblical definitions of sin were doneaway with rather the the philosophers inGermany in the early 1900s Define sin asany sexual relationship that produced aninferior Offspring birth control waspromoted for those who are determined tobe inferior such as the poor otherscalled for the incarceration of thementally ill in segregated labor campsso they would be prevented from breedingpolygamy for healthy males became anacceptable option and people started tohave health checkups before marriage andthey also um pressed the poor and thesick and the weak into involuntarysterilization programs now before the20th century euthanasia which actuallymeans good death euth anavia youth Asiareferred to actions taken to make one'spassage from life to death less painfuluh The Hangover that we have from thattoday is known as the the pallative carethat is provided with um when people arepassing away we provide them paliativecare in hospices that's the might saythe traditional view of euthanasia thateuthanasia is provide is is easingsomebody it reduces their pain as theypass from life to death but in the early20th century euthanasia came to meansomething very differentit came to mean active measures taken toshorten the life of the sociallyunfit it was the purposeful interventionto kill the sick or theinferior and because of the need to preto prevent the inferior folks in societyfrom breeding involuntary earlyeuthanasia was to be promoted indepicting such inferior individuals as adanger to the survival of the humanspecies killing them could be presentedas an act of righteousself-defense this this is what happenswhen a nation turns its back on God fromDarwin through to the early 1900s aperiod of 50 years um European societprofoundly changed within German Societyin particular I'm focusing on Germanytoday because we working our way up toAdolf Hitler in a few minutes um thefocus was not on only the the sociallyunfit within Germany but also on thenon-germanic peoples around the worldwho are generally considered in generalto fit into the inferior category suchpeople of Africa or southeast Asiaallegedly could not adapt or adopt tothe superior cultures of German cultureand the Technologies and worldviews ARrising out of Europe and so scientificracism developed the basic concept fromDarwinism is that if you have a givenspecies that species does not evolve ata uniform rate the basic concept ofDarwinism is it with a given speciesvarious groups within it are betteradapted to their environment than othergroups and it is a responsibility ofthose who are better adapted to theenvironment to eliminate the othergroups so these groups have a betterchance to survive that's the basic oftheory in such circumstances the moreadvanced or better adapted let me speakbluntly the white Europeans had anevolutionary imperative to eliminate theless Advanced peoples around the worldand so it was as we look around theworld in the early 1900s the destructionof the hotton tots the herreros ofSouthwest Africa Botswana Namibia theMari peoples the Aboriginal peoples ofthe world the Native Americans yes andthe Indians of Latin America weregenerally understood by evolutionarybiologists to be necessary to purify thehuman race and to create living room forSuperior races within Humanity by whichthey meant Europeans in general andGermans in particular and if you go backto some of the colonial wars forinstance Germany in in Namibia inSouthwest Africa the early 1900s theirgenerals were explicitly talking aboutthis in evolutionary terms it was amoral good to wipe out the nativepeoples Along Came World War I and WorldWar I posed many challenges for theeugenicists because they didn't like thefact that the young the fit and thehealthy were selected for the draft andsent off to fight and they died in thetrenches whereas the sick the halt thelame and the blind stayed at home theycouldn't fight and they were the oneswho were reproducing this caused majorproblems for the eugenesis in Germanyduring World War I and even though umthe British and the Germans you knowthere was a battle of Empire that wasgoing on many in both so societies wereupset that why are we killing each otherrather than Conquering the world withcolonialism and so both Britain andGermany which had received incrediblelight during theReformation you might say in theirpopular culture turned their back on Godaccepted evolutionary biology and theworld reaped a bitterHarvest and so thus we come to AdolfHitler and it is popular simply to saythat Adolf Hitler isevil and to Simply leave it at thatthe truth of the matter is Adolf Hitlerdid not arise within a vacuum he wassimply The Logical expression of whatwas going on in European intellectualSociety from the time of Darwin throughto the 1930s he was The Logical outcomeof darwinist thought he didn't arisewithin a vacuum and so behind um AdolfHitler was a coherent set of darwinistethics and to speak closer to home toProtestants what he actually did to theJews was recommended by Martin Lutherthe hero of of theReformation we put Martin Luther on apedestal but other than the gas Chamberseverything that happened to the Jews andthe Holocaust was written down and it WRrecommended by Martin Luther in theatelast years of his life Germany being aLutheran country had a green light fromMartin Luther their spiritual hero toeliminate the Jews and they had the thethe the the moral imperative toeliminate the Jews from the writings ofCharles Darwin now I I like MartinLuther as much as anybody else but let'sbe honest about the fact Martin Lutherwas just as much responsible for theHolocaust as any other man woman orchild inGermanysowe we come to the Holocaust very famouspicture of a of um cleansing of a ghettoin Eastern Europe probably inPoland for Hitler as for Darwin himselfthe darwinian struggle for existence wasthe sole Arbiter of Mormorality only through racialextermination could Humanity improvebiologically in advance to a HigherCulture Darwinism provided theunderlying scientific justification forracial inequality racial competition andracial extermination Hitler was not anaberration he was The Logical result ofDarwin Phil Darwin'sphilosophy as The evolutionary processis the Arbiter of all morality accordingto Hitler why not improve Humanity byspeeding up the destruction of the unfitelement of humanity via what was knownas the final solution the elimination ofthe disabled and the inferior raceswhether you were Russian polish Jewishum gypsy many other peoples were wereattacked by Adolf Hitler being part ofinferior groups and so according to thisdarwinian Logic the extermination ofsuch individuals and races was necessaryand it was morallypraiseworthy in practice this meant twoum two strategies promoted here you haveum fits the selection the people come onoff the trains you have German doctorsum deciding who lives who dies the unfitgo straight to the to the gas Chambersand up the chimneys uh the living thefit are placed in the Work Camp of Burannow they worked until they die or theywhen they are unfit to work anymore theyalso go up the CH the uh gas Chambersand up the chimneys they have theselection and um tens of thousands ofpeople died on a daily basis during thatprocess life meant very little in NaziGermany so um the Germans engaged ininvoluntary sterilizations involuntaryeuthanasia the extermination of thoseoutside the German racial Communityabortions forced abortions birth controlfor inferior so people within GermanSociety infanticide for sick infants andthen the Holocaust itself The Logicaloutworking of Darwin'sphilosophy and from 1933 onwards over350,000 people were forcibly sterilizedum within Nazi Germany here if you goaround the um if you go to aitz itselfyou can walk through the bunkers the thethe barracks where people lived survivedis a better word and in each of thebarracks they have created as a museumfrom the Mounds of clothing that wereleft behind they've created Um mountainsin this in this Barrack is purely ofshoes and you go to another uh you go toanother Barrack and the Barrack is aslong as this church and another Barrackis filled with spectacles hundreds ofthousands of spectacles from from thosewho are Gass and you go to anotherBarrack and and it's filled with infantshoes to theceiling you can see it with your owneyes it's you cannot say much when whenwhen you come to uh places such asthis now from 1939 over 70,000 Germansperished in a compulsory euthanasiaprogram that had extensive support fromGerman Physicians lawyers courts andpsychiatrists even in the United Stateslet us not think that we're immune tothis kind of thinking ourselves even inthe United States compulsory euthanasiawas practiced as was compulsorysterilization for the disabled and othergroups the first state to propose acompulsory sterilization bill was guessMichigan in 1897 and by God's grace itfailed to pass the state um votingprocess but after World War IIIcompulsory sterilization in the UnitedStates became very unpopular when peoplerealized the link between the Holocaustand compulsory sterilization under theunderlying philosophy of Darwin andevolutionary biology however in theUnited States the last person to beforcibly sterilized was in 1981 and over65,000 individuals were forciblysterilized here in the United States asa result of Darwin'sphilosophy why do we sterilize thembecause they're socially unfit we don'twant them to reproduce if they reproduceit wastes resources that are better usedfor those who arefit and what of us today you look at thedivisions on the streets of WashingtonDC we see black lives matter we seeracial Injustice we see racial strugglewell we teach our children in our stateschools the theory of evolution do wenot we teach our children not that weare human beings but that we are humananimals and we teach our children thisis a scientificfact and if you believe in evolutionthere is no God and if you believe inevolution The Logical outworking ofevolution is racial struggle and racialinequality and ultimately racialextermination you cannot say to peopleyou cannot be racist in a society whereyou simultaneous teach them the theoryofevolution now you may say now we don'thave that in America oh yes wedo if you don't believe in racialinequality take a trip to Benton Harborwhere people are trapped in lowcosthousing with no jobs and they aretrappedthere or you look at the practices thatare imposed on certain of our societiesgrossInjustice and you say well pastor wedon't have racial extermination in thiscountry oh yes we dothe most famous provider of reproductiveservice in this country is what andwhere did plan her Parenthood come fromthe founder was a lady called Marysanster in the 1920s and 30s she was nodifferent to Adolf Hitler she believedin the in the in reducing thereproductive rates of the inferior Racesby which he met the Negroes ofAmerica and Planned Parenthood todayengages in Far More abortions for blackbabies than for white babies in factjust a couple of years ago more blackbabies were bort in the state of NewYork then were born all done by PlannedParenthood Mary stanster the patronsaint of the democratic party wasengaging in the elimination of the Negrorace in America through abortions nowyou may say Pastor that sounds extremeno it's not it's thetruth and I'm not the first person tosaythis we say we don't have the Holocaustwell Hitler maybe killed six or sevenmillion but how many millions of infantshave died in this country throughabortion through a provider thatbelieves believes philosophically in theelimination of the unfit and thepromotion of living room for those whoare fit to survive those who aresociallySuperior oh yes we have racialinequality and racial struggle andracial extermination in America to thisday ask yourself where are the abortionclinics in America overwhelminglythey're beside poor black and brownneighborhoods that's where they are dothe research for yourself go onlinedon't believe everything you see butthis is the truth that I'm speaking wehave racial extermination today we justdon't have the camps they're calledabortion clinics and they're targeted atpoor black and brownfamilies so how do we respond to this wehave these struggles on the streets wehave people marching over socialinjustice how do we respond well I wantyou to pull out the sheet of paper thatprinted for youguys our time is moving on hereI want to compare today we need to takethis piece of paper home with you I wantto compare today the difference betweenthe evolutionary darwinian worldview andthe basic biblical worldview and I hopeand pray that each of us falls in theright hand column rather than the lefthand column today because there is aprofound and incompatible differencebetween Darwin Darwin's evolutionbiology and the faith of thescriptures and so i' I've highlightedfor you a few things here some of thekey factors of evolution biology on theleft and how does a Christian respond tothis and you will see that truly thegospel is truly good news for all peopleof all backgrounds so we see therefollowing as we go through this DarwinDarwinism teaches that there is anongoing life and death struggle betweenthe various races of the human speciesand that struggle is necessary andbeneficial for evolutionary progressthat's what Darwin teaches the Bibleteaches that rather than controversybetween blacks and Browns and yellowsEtc there is a great controversy betweenChrist and Satan in which the EternalDestiny of every member of the humanhuman race is atstake Darwin teaches that the endpurpose is the temporal survival of thefittest or the superior elements withinthe human species the Bible teaches thatGod's end purpose is eternal life forall members of the human race not justfor the fit not just for the favored notjust for the European whites but for allmembers of the human race that is God'spurpose someone say Amen but Darwinanticip Ates irresistible progress ofevolutionarymorality and you might say aitz wasevolutionary Morality In Action theBible on the other hand anticipates aglobal descent into utter immoralitybefore the second coming of Jesus ChristDarwin teaches that morality is relativeto the time and situation in which wefind ourselves and we discover moralitythrough human reason and experience andas history has taught us through thedeaths of theinnocent the Bible teaches that moralityis transcend ascendant revealed by aloving Creator God and is and revolvesaround moral absolutes that express loveto God and love to our fellowman Darwin and evolution biologist teachus today that the superior races withinthe human species have a moralresponsibility to eliminate the inferiorraces and the inferior elements withinhuman species to create living room forthe superior parts of the human race andthus Foster our species UltimateSurvival the Bible teaches that everyindividual is responsible andaccountable before God to love theirneighbor asthemselves The evolutionary biologyteaches that life of any individual hasno intrinsic value in fact in evolutionbiology the best thing you can do forthe survival of the species may simplybe to die that's good newsyes the Bible teaches us that ratherthan us having no value we are createdin the image of a loving God we arepurchased through the blood of the Lambof God and every human being thereforehas um incredible existen value and Godwill hold accountable any who dare totake the life of another humanbeing the Bible Darwin teaches what isof supreme importance is the survival ofthe species the Bible teaches that weare saved as individuals not as aspecies god holds us morally accountablefor our own sins and response to thepromptings of his spirit and not for theresponse of anotherperson Darwin teachers and ultimatelythe the teachers in our schools whopromote evolution they may not admit itbut this is the truth they teach thatthe disabled the handicapped thephysically defective the mentallydeficient the alcoholics the criminalsand the non-european peoples are to beeliminated in response Jesus gives usthe parable of the sheep and the goatsin the final analysis our EternalDestiny is determined not by who we areor the color of our skin but by ourloving response or our lack of lovingresponse to those who are in need aroundus Darwinism teaches that marriage andreproduction is to be guided solely bythe principles of Eugenand to promote health and strength forthe NextGeneration the Bible teaches thatmarriage is entered into an expressionand reflection of theself-sacrificing self-sacrificingcovenantal love within thegodhead D Evolution teaches thatmarriage among the inferior portions ofthe human race is to be discouraged andreproduction to be prevented such asinvoluntary sterilization programs orhigh abortion rates for ethnicminorities the Bible instead teachesthat marriage is a divine blessing fromGod for all Humanity and every child'sborn in this earth is born in the imageof God and is a blessing from God andGod has an eternal purpose for everysingle child somebody should sayAmen Evolution teaches that death is aForce for good and under malthusianprinciples malus a philosopher a fewyears ago that the more the death thegreater the the benefit for the humanrace as death in vast quantitieseliminates in Greater proportion theinferior elements of the human raceevolutionary progress is facilitated bydeath the the Bible on the other handteaches that death is the final enemyand will be conquered once and for allat the second coming and destroyedForever at the end of the Millenniumsomebody say Amen there is no agreementbetween Satan andChrist the idea of theistic evolutionthe idea that there was a process ofevolution and God somehow superintendstheprocess those people are morally nodifferent to Adolf Hitler because of theimplications of what they believe aneducated man is one who is not educatedbut an educated man who one whounderstands the implications of what hebelieves and those who argue fortheistic evolution like the Catholicchurchtoday in the process there was theinsulant of of the the human animal intothe human being nobody knows how or whenor where orwhythey they are trying to deal withevolutionary philosophy they're tryingto gain the Applause of this world whichis ruled by the prince of this worldthat is Satan and there is no agreementwith SatanI believe that we are created in sixdays by a loving Creator all of us inthe image of God that is what the wordof God says it gives me purpose gives mehope and it gives mevalue and if you believe in theisticevolution you have impossible conundrumsto deal with if the wages of sin isdeath that's what the Bible teaches andfrom Death we need a savior would youagree but if you believe in theisticevolution then you have to say wellbefore Adam and Eve lived there werebillions of years of life and death andlife and death and life and death isthat not right as as the human speciesevolved from from a little single cellto a human being that means that beforesin arrived there was death and if deathexisted for billions of years before sinthat means the wages of sin is not deaththerefore you don't need a savior it's ait's a satanic Theory the idea oftheistic evolution it simply does notwork as you compare it with thescriptures so where are we today inconclusion our time is uphere aritework makes you free the the logo overthe gates ofaitz we come to Jesus Christ the saviorof the world who died for all peoplethat whoever believeth in him no matterwhere you come from should not perishbut have everlasting life in a worldthat says that some lives matter andsome lives don't matter the gospel saysthat everybody matters to God no matterwhere you come from no matter the colorof your skin or your heritage JesusChrist stood there for you it's goodnewsis wonderful news it's the only goodnews this world has to hear now we'renot going to go through this text heretoday this is revelation 13 11-15 we'removing to our conclusion now the firstof the three points I want to make isthis the world has adopted evolutionarybiology and Darwinism so has the RomanCatholicChurch they form of it but they haveadopted in principle the idea of B ofevolution we recognize in a world wherethe Catholic church has acceptedEvolution that SA Sabbath Keepers Maywell be viewed as inferiors whoseelimination from society will serve thecommon good of humanity thus the globaldeath penalty for those who refuse themark of the of the Beast is not onlypossible but is morally praiseworthy dueto the acceptance of dness Philosophy bythe global secular Elites and the RomanCatholic hierarchy we say how could thechurch promote the elimination of thosewho keep the Sabbath very simply InDarwin's philosophy it is morallypraiseworthy to eliminate the unfit ortheinferior and as the Catholic church hasadopted Evolution they have adopted darnhis philosophy aswell the second point I want us toremind us today is the fourthCommandment remember the Sabbath day tokeep it holy because of the Sabbathcommandment we reject out of hand Theevolutionary worldview of the Westtogether with the racial inequalityracial competition and racial ex umextermination we we reject out of handthe West's denial of the sanctity ofhuman life that is a direct andnecessary consequence of Darwin'sphilosophy we affirm the truth writtenin this fourth Commandment of thebiblical accounts of Earth's origins ina recent six day creation by worshipingon the Sabbath day this coming togetheron the Sabbath day we're basicallysaying to the world we don't believe inevolution we believe this world wascreated in six days therefore we honorthe Sabbath day because the Lord restedon it and he hallowed it we denyevolution by gathering here today andbecause we gather on the Sabbath it alsoimplies that we should not only honorthe Sabbath and affirm that God is aCreator but it also means Adventistswhen rejecting racial inequality shouldshould work for racial equality thenrejecting the racial competition thatcomes from Evolution we should work forracial reconciliation and in and inrejecting the racial exterminationpolicies of our society we should workto uphold the sanctity of human lifethat's the implications of thiscommandment and are we doing itwell a starting point now I have thisTheory you may shoot me down on this Ihave this theory that um whentwo-year-olds play in a in akindergarten it's called parallel playthey don't play with each other theyplay beside eachother when we come to church we engagein parallel worship we don't know theman or woman in front of us or behind usoften or to the side of us and we showpretty much zero interest in theirspiritualwell-being is that thetruth sometimes sometimes yes it hasbeen in my experience well maybe if wegot gather together on the Sabbath if weare to truly say that the Sabbathaffirms that all people are created theimage of God and all people areintrinsically equal then why don't westart looking to the people on our rightand left and saying hey let's spend sometime together you tell me your story andI'll tell you mine and let's learn howwe got into this position in the firstplace so look around the people in yourPew St look at the people in front lookat them behind do you know them do youknow them from Adam or Eveyou probably see somebody of a differentHeritage this is a very Multiculturalchurch I want to challenge you todaydon't just worship here on Sabbathactively seek out people from differentheritages learn what is good about theirHeritage learn how they got in aposition where they are share who youare and how you've got into positionwhere you are and in so doing we Bond webuild up bonds of Brotherly and sisterlylove the world says we should notworship together Day Adventists who keepthe Sabbath we stand for a whole lotmore thanthat and finally Romans 5 8-9 and verse18 but God proves his love for us thatwhile we were yet sinners Christ diedfor us most beautiful beautiful one ofthe most beautiful passages of scripturemuch more surely then now that we'vebeen justified by his blood will we besaved through him from the wrath of Godtherefore just as one man's trespass ledto condemnation for all so one man's Actof righteousness leads to justificationand life forwho there is no favored race in the eyesof Godthere is no inferior part of the humanspecies in the eyes of God if you acceptany form of evolution you are morally nodifferent to Adolf Hitler that's astrong statement but the implications ofaccepting Evolution are no different towhat Adolf Hitlerdid this text tells us that one's man'sAct of righteousness leads tojustification and life for who for allto a world that is divided by racialhatred and Injustice and equality thegospel is God's solutionand it is our privilege to live thatgospel in this church family is ourprivilege in our church family to keepan eye out for social and racialInjustice and to work against it tospeak against it to stand up against itand to say that we are the children ofGod we all created in His image weworship on the Sabbath therefore thisperson sitting next to me is mybrother when God said to Cain where isthy brother and Cain said back am I MyBrother's Keeper man woman or childcreated in the image of God in the finalanalysis Darwin was right there is astruggle between life and death that weall live and die is a given but thesolution to this struggle is not foundin the Origin of Species but is found inthe word of God the solution to thestruggle of life is not found in the gaschambers of ashit it is found in thecross ofCalvary as the Apostle Paul said in thelife I now live in the flesh I live byfaith in the Son of God who loved me andgave himself for me and foryou I want to invite youtoday in a world that is Riven byInjustice and violence andhatred to Covenant with God that youwill be a force for good in thiscommunity that you will work for racialJustice and racial Harmony that inhonoring the Sabbath you don't just comehere and go home you will spend timewith your brother and with your sisterand you will learn about them and learnfrom them and we will in truth bebrothers and sisters in Jesus JesusChrist in so doing we will set anexample to this world the solution isnot found in Republican or Democrat it'sfound in the word of God in the kingdomof God which is a kingdom of Grace weall exist in this Kingdom not becausewe're good but because we're sinners inneed of God's grace and is thatfundamental equality before God assinners in need of God's grace that welook to somebody else and say truly weare Brothers and Sisters in Christ andwe're going to walk this journey to NewJerusalem together Darwin and hisphilosophy LED down the steps into thegasChambers the Bible leads us up to theNewJerusalem choose you this day who youwill follow the gods of this worldDarwin is the god of the west or JesusChrist the savior of the World As for mein my house we will follow Jesus Christand I invite you to do the same amen[Music][Applause][Music]the glor SE of[Music][Applause][Applause][Music][Applause][Music]I sing the good of the Lord that willwith he the creatures with his bloodandounLord howI onhis I turn myeyImy for[Applause][Music][Applause]temp my[Music]thres God[Music]is before we close ourserviceum promote guy quad's brother diedduring churchservice he's in making plans to speakwith hisrelatives he was just in India and uhhis F his brother is a formerpastor but I would encourage you to prayfor him this day as he contacts hisrelatives also Al I would like to remindus too of uh Ronda Johnson and hermother and their family as Larry is notexpected tolive um Pastor Conrad talked about usright and knowing who you're sittingaround these are people today on theSabbath that are going through a toughjourney andum Pastor asked me to pray for Rhondaduring first service and Iforgot but I did during Sabbath schoolso I would appreciate if you would thinkabout uh these families today and uhPastor is going to dismiss and uh wewant to be back here by 2o'clock so our eyes are closed and ourheads are bowed father may we not belike Cain and slay ourbrother but I pray that we'll indeed beour Brother'sKeeper look out for our brother and oursister because they are created in yourimage aswell father with the Liberty we have inthis country in this coming week and thecoming days and months ahead I ask thatthis our congregation will be known as aplace where people of all backgroundstruly experience Brotherhood andSisterhood may we not be blind to theunjustice in our midst or turn and walkthe other way but may we be eager to dothat which is right and to live the goodnews of a savior who lived and died forall so father give us the courage to dothis give us the wisdom to perceive yourwill and the courage to follow it thisMercy we ask in jesus' name amen
