Each name of God is a window into His character. Different names reflect different aspects of who He is at different times and depending on your life circumstances.

If you’re lying in hospital suffering with cancer, for instance, the Lord is my shepherd is a beautiful name of God.

Knowing your banner was very important because in the fog of war with the smoke blowing around you, you didn’t want to get lost; you wanted to stay with your regiment.

God is looking for chosen men — men of conscience, men of courage, men of compassion, men who are covenant keepers.

Conflict does not mean that God has abandoned us; it simply means we’re in the midst of the great controversy, and God promises He will be with us in the fight.

When the leaders of God’s people are united, God’s kingdom advances; when we neglect to pray together, God’s kingdom does not advance.

Wherever the banner or the cross of Christ leads, there we follow. When the banner of Christ is hidden, we tend to fall back.

By faith, we can be set free from the lower law of the flesh by the operation of the new and higher law of the Spirit.

When you arise tomorrow morning, invite Jesus to live within you, to cleanse you of your unrighteousness, to change your heart, and empower you through the indwelling of His Spirit.

Do not live by the flesh; live by the Spirit. Do not be held back by the laws of gravity, but by faith embrace the higher law that will set you free.
