The essence of Adventism is that we proclaim the soon coming of Jesus Christ, not just the Blessed Hope but the only hope for suffering humanity.
Hope will carry you across any mountain, through any pandemic or economic catastrophe, because you know that one day, all things will be made new again.
If you have hope, you can get through almost anything. And if you don’t have hope, you give up at the first mountain you face.
Life is precious precisely because it is finite. If you live and die millions of times, that’s not such great news.
The wages of sin is death, but if we believe Satan and believe that we will not die, then the wages of sin is not death, and we have nothing to worry about.
Teach us to realize the brevity of life so that we may grow in wisdom. When we realize that life is short, it’s an invitation from God to grow in heavenly wisdom.
