that's right and we are notstreaming that and we're doing thatbecause we want to protect hisprivacy because he will eventually beinserted into an undisclosed area rightnow I'm not going to say and in thatarea there is intensepersecution which is why we're using aname and we're not showing the face andthis is why we're notstreaming uh that particular portion andthen for the Divine hour we have asermon entitled seven churches sevenmessages and and as with any goodSabbath we follow that up with that'sright a fellowship meal a potluck and Ido hope that you help us out by bringingfood uh we have quite a few number ofpeople already here in person we'reprobably going to be anticipating atleast twice this many if not more in themorning so please PR plan to bring foodand stay for the meal after the serviceand then approximately around 2:30that's the target time but you know howFellowship meals happen right we have anafternoon session that is strictly a Q&Aquestions and answers and this portionalso will not bestreamed and this is so that we can docontent moderation that way we don'tinadvertently talk about or saysomething and that gets out in the wholeworld and so we're wanting to limit thateffect and so that particular sessionwill not be streamed and which is whyI'm encouraging those of you who arejoining us online please come and planto stay for thewholedaywell I will be providing a formalintroduction in themorning for both pastors but as you wellknow Pastor Vine hails from actually myhometownI'm a michigander for those of you whodidn't know I was I was how do you do itthis way yeah this way I was born rightoverhere yeah this way right here inMichigan so uh he is an ordainedminister of the Gospel of the sth DayAdventist Church and yet he serves asthe president of Adventist Frontiermissions and I'm sure we'll be talkingabout that more as time goes on and Ijust want to let you know in advance wewill be collecting a love offeringduring the afternoon Q&A session forthat particular Ministry so if you'reinterested in that Ministry and you'venever heard of it before you can go toAFM online.organd uh it is one of the mostrevolutionary ground breaking movementthat the sth Adventist Church is doingdo you understand what Frontiermissionaries doyes okay I'm only getting a few headnods so Frontier missionary work ismissionary work in areas where they'venot heard the name of Jesus or knowanything aboutChristianity you uh interestingstats the amount of worldwide money thatpeople donate to fund Frontier or tofund missionary work in areas wherepeople have a scarcity of the knowledgeof Jesus Christ andChristianity is less than the amount ofmoney that Americans spend on Halloweencostumes for theirpets yeah that puts it inperspective so there is an intense needfor this work because Jesus said he willcome after the gospel iswhat preached to all the world not justto preach to all the people who grew upProtestant or Catholic right preach toall the world and so this is the workthat admin Frontier missions does and sowe will be having Pastor Vine come upnow but before he does let's have a wordof prayer shallwe our gracious Father in heaven we wantto just thank you for the fact that youshabbat you took a break you stopped andceasedworking in the work of creation but inactuality you can continued by creatingthe seventh daySabbath because you wanted to spend amemorial in time with your people sofather thank you for this time thank youfor bringing us all here today and wejust pray for the outpouring of the HolySpirit may he come and Inspire us as heinspired the writers of old may heinstruct Us in the ways of righteousnessand may we be blessed blessed as youbless DrVine and through that blessing we praythat all of us will become more likeJesus Christ for this is our sincereprayer in Jesus name we pray amen DrVineyeah all right uh good eveningeverybody it's good to uh uh be here inPortland once again it's the second timein my life that I'm here I was here Ithink in July this year went to theSandy church and um so uh as uh brotherJed said I was booked to come here abouta year ago and so finally I make it hereI've looked at your church online I sawthe picture of the stone tower out thefront on your website um but it's alwaysnice to meet the people within thewithin the four walls and so I bringgreetings for my wife she's back inMichigan and I told her it's going to benice and warm in Portland where we got50° weather in Michigan and driving coldrain right now so she was kind ofenvious of that but uh my GRE greetingsfrom my wife from our son and daughterand it's a privilege to come and sharewith you tonight so as brother Jed saidum we have kind of four parts for thisweekend uh tonight I'm going to betalking about some of the events thatpoint to the coming of Jesus and help usrealize that the freedoms we have todayare not going to last for much longerand as we saw in the last two to threeyears um all around the world it seemsthere is a desire on the part of thosein authority to have totalitarian powerover their citizenships and so we'regoing to be looking at some of thoseissues then we're going to look tomorrowat animism and work among animists andit's an interesting thing because a workamong animists you may think well thathappens in you know Africa or Thailandfor instance but actually um if you workwith um folk Muslims uh that's mostMuslim women actually if you work withHindus if you work with Buddhists oranimists or with many postmodernseculars here in the world in Americayou're actually working with people wholive in fear of the spirits and sodespite the culture and the Theology andthe language in all those religiousgroups and you might say to a certainextent in Catholicism um people areliving in fear of spirits and there'svarious ways to manipulate those spiritsand so um animism we may talk aboutmissionaries to animist peoples in inAfrica but that animism is just as livein Portland as it is in Africa um if youlook at the New Age movement the Wickermovement um out and out witchcraft hereon the West Coast it's a growing part ofour society and the net result is thatmore and more Americans are becomingtrapped in the snares of spiritualismthey're living in fear of the spirits sowe're going to be talking about thatduring Sabbath school tomorrow thesermon tomorrow is going to be focusingon uh the seven churches of Revelationand some of the lessons it has for ustoday in2023 and uh in the afternoon is a Q&Asession and I think that uh one of thereasons that won't be streamed is thatpeople tend to ask very direct questionsand um I get into trouble for some ofthose answers so it's best if it's notstreamed onlinewhen you do something like that butanyway tonight I want to talk about someof the things that are happening in ourworld today uh we're going to concludewith some of the things that arehappening this week um and as we gothrough this we'll start with a broadercontext we'll kind of narrow it down Ihope we'll realize that um when theBible talks about the events before thecoming of Jesus we're seeing thosethings being fulfilled in front of ourvery eyes today and our role asAdventists is to be ready for the comingof Jesus that's our number one priorityand our number two priority is to makehelp other people be ready for thecoming of Jesus and everything else iskind of secondary to that because whenJesus comes again this church will burnto the ground as will Portland as willevery city in the United States andaround the world and the only thing thatwill remain is the body of Christ andthose who aresaved so uh when we kind of think ofthings in those terms uh the value of ahuman soul becomes much more significantin our lives and the value of theimportance of saving Souls uh um takeson a supreme importance cuz that's theonly thing we're going to take fromplanet Earth so now let's talk aboutsome of the trends that are happeningaround us I'm going to start at thebroadest level we're going to narrowdown some of the things that arehappening this week and how they relateto the Book of Revelation chapter 13 souh the first thing have you heard thephrase the greatreset so uh there have been fourindustrial Revolutions in history I'veput them up on the screen there thefirst started in Britain the mechanicalproduction Revolution uh you've heardthe song Jerusalem uh that was a areaction to the the production in theMills there's a line there that talksabout the dark and satanic Mills of thethe Northern parts of England they wherethey were producing cloth for theBritish Empire and that the key the keyTechnologies were rain railroads and thesteam engine the Second Industrialrevolutions took place here in Americaand that was in the late 1800s to theearly 20th century and the electricityin the assembly line were the keyfactors in that and classic example isfor Ford Motor Corporation where you canhave your car can be any color as longas it is black all right then the thirdIndustrial Revolution was when I wasborn sometime I won't say when I wasborn but sometime from the 1960 to theyear 2000 and this was the thirdIndustrial Revolution uh the keyTechnologies are the personal computersemiconductors and the internet and uhthe first time I saw a personal computerit was anIBM and my uncle had just come back fromLinda and he carried into our house whatlooked to me like a suitcase a large orlike an accordion case you like thoseaccordion and there was this huge thingand he said this is a computer I thoughtwhat do I need that for and he put it upon the desk uh at our home and he openedup and there was this big kind of creambox with a flickering green screen likethis and he had a 3 and 1/2 in or 6 infloppy disc that he stuck into it and hesaid look he said I can type out aletter and I thought I've got atypewriter why do I need this big hunkof metal to write a letter when whenwhen I've got an oldfashioned typewriterthat says just the same thing little didI know uh but the uh computers haveprofoundly changed our world and when Isay to my children that there was a timewhen there were no computers and noiPads and no there were weren't just noiPhones there was no telephone otherthan a landline with a handset on thewall at home and if you wanted to make acall outside of your town you had tocall the operator and the operator woulddirect you to wherever you were callingand this was an astonishingly like umfor teenagers today this world neverexisted it's hard to imagine that thatworld kind of existed in the same way ifyou were to tell Abraham that let's saythis is say this is a cell phone it'snot but imagine it's a cell phone ifYou' have said to Abraham um 4,000 yearsago Abraham if you want to know whatit's like in Canaan before you go therejust pick up your phone and callsomebody in Canan right now and they'lltell you what the weather's like andwhat what the politics are like and whatthe food is like then you can decidewhether you want to go or not all rightso if you said that to Abraham he saidthat's not possible and so our world hasdramatically changed with theseindustrial revolutions and now we're inthe midst of what we call the fourthIndustrial Revolution and we have theintegration of it systems globally uhsmart and 3D manufacturing are pushingus to integration at all levels aroundour world uh just an example I I got ona plane recently to Armenia at ChicagoO'Hare and normally when you get on aplane they they ask for your boardingpass or they ask to see your passport tosome countries but not now at oare youstand in front of this camera and ittakes a picture of you and sometimesthey want to take a picture of yourretina and then it's allinterconnected and so this technology isadvancing very fast and the net resultis everything is becoming um linked uhglobally so you've heard of the greatresets there's a guy called Dr CLASchwab heard of Dr CLSchwab he looks like um a baddy from aJames B Bond movie really and you canjust imagine him hting hit sittingholding a purring cat and speaking inthreatening terms but he is the founderand chairman of the world um economicforum and they meet annually in Davosand the world's economic and politicalElites meet there well um he wrote abook called in 2020 called covid-19 andthe great reset and what he has aessentially been arguing for and he'svery influential is that um he arguesthat covid exposed the weaknesses of ourworld governance system and essentiallythe point is this when you have a globalproblem and every government acts as itsees fit in the interest of its owncitizens the net result is the globalproblem cannot be fixed properly if whenyou have a global problem you need aglobal governance system so you have aone a one-sized solution that fits thewhole of planet Earth and in that sensenational government need to give way toa single World Authority that's going tomanage the global response to Globalchallenges and so actually the phrase uhgreat great reset was coined by usscholar Dr Richard Florida after the2008 financial crisis that hit manypeople here in the United States but thephrase the great reset is now in inpopular culture is it not you've heardthe phrase the great reset now part ofthe Great reset is to move us fromshareholder capitalism to stakeholdercapitalism now in shareholder capitalismthat means that um if you have a A 403bor a 401k or say a retirement account umyou you you invest that that money isheld in a mutual fund in the stockmarket and the fund managers they investthat money in corporations that are canyield the highest profit for you asthose shareholders and that means thatyour fund balance for your retirementhas a has a maximum Financial valuepossible and that's called shareholdercapitalism so so if I privately chooseto buy a share in Ford the board of FordMotor Corporation has a legal Duty afiduciary duty to maximize the value ofthe shares of Ford for theshareholders and that's why I haveconfidence to invest in Ford MotorCompany for instance now that's calledshareholder capitalism and the for theboard is driven by the need to maximizevalue for those who would invest in thecorporation well with stakeholdercapitalism the shareholders are only oneamong many um stakeholders instakeholder capitalism you have toconsider every possible person or theenvironment that is impacted by theoperations of your corporation so nowyou're not just interested in maximizingvalue for your shareholders the retireeswho are living on the on the dividendsnow you're looking to maximize value andless minimize the impact for sayindigenous communities where your miningtakes place or you looking to minimizethe environmental impact of yourbusiness or you're looking to ummaximize the positive impact for thelgbtq community for instance as as beingone of the marginalized communities incritical theory and so once corporationsmove from shareholder capitalism to fromshareholder to stakeholder capitalism uhthey they operates with a set of indicesknown as the ESG index or theenvironmental social and governanceindex and because we have a couple oflarge corporations such as Vanguard andblack rock which manage trillions of ofdollars of wealth in retirement fundsthey have a massive influence overAmerican corporations and they arepushing this um this um sharestakeholder capitalism um across the USindustry so good examples recently areTarget um you know they they werepushing certain things during pridemonth there was a consumer backlash umbut though the the target strategy wasnot so much driven by Target managementit was driven by the need to impose ESGum positive indices on that Corporationfrom theinvestors so um in the greatreset the corporations now act as agentsof the state we saw that during thepandemic where um even when the USSupreme Court said that um it's uh it isunconstitutional for OSHA to requirecorporations with more than 100employees to require their employees tohave vaccinations even though theSupreme Court held that wasunconstitutionalthe very next day the currentAdministration said to the corporationsAmerica even if it is unconstitutionalwe want you to impose the mandatesanyway and so in in in in the greatreset corporations become agents of thestate they're privately heldcorporations they have privateshareholders but um the corporations noweffectively um they they augment thepower of the state now corporations uhthe important thing about corporationsis they don't answer tovoters right theoretically you canchange your government at a nationalelection theoretically atleast but who votes in the Ford MotorCorporation board anybody here ever votein Toyota or Ford or or caterpillar orIBM or apple no nobody does that so weas citizens have pretty much zeroinfluence over the management structuresof these Global corporations and whenthose global corporations act as theenforcement arm for national governmentpolicies um that is a a classicdefinition of of World War II fascismwhere where the state where the privatesector acts to implement the decisionsof of the government and so what'shappening with the great reset is thatwe're effectively losing the meaning ofdemocracy and our Western democraciesare being transformed into compliantpopulations uh with globalist andtotalitarian corporations governed bytechnocrats and bilateral agencies andthat's what's happening in our worldtoday so democracy is losing a lot ofits meaning for a lot of people aroundthe world because the major decisionsare no longer being taken at The BallotBox the major decisions are been takenin corporate boardrooms acting on behalfof the governments of our world this ispart of what the great resetinvolves so uh part and parcel of thisis another Trend that we're seeing isthe rise of cbdcs so you are youfamiliar with what a cbdc is you'veheard about it in the news Central Bankdigital currencies so at the moment weuh most of parts of the world use Fiatcurrencies now Fiat is from Latin itmeans Let It Be or let it be made so afiat currency is one that is magickedout of thin air by a central bank suchas the pound sterling the Japanese Yenthe European Euro or the US dollar anduh traditionally our governments controlthe supply of money via monetary policyor fiscal policy a fiscal policy uh isthe tax rates and monetary policies howmuch money they choose to print orborrowing and uh so they control thesupply of money and the supply of moneyum determines whether the economy goesup or the economy goes down depending onwhat's happening in the economy to anygiven time now what's happening rightnow is that our every fiat currency hasa natural lifespan you know they theythey they start they rise up then theylose their value rapidly and theydisappear and classic examples are theare the Zimbabwe in pound and Shillingin the 1990s which devalued to waspretty much worth nothing and in 1930sGermany you had the viar Republic whereyou know if you took a wheelbarrow of ofof Deutch marks to the to the bank or toa bread store the wheelbarrow was worthmore than Deutch marks in thewheelbarrow okay and the money waseffectively worthless so what happenswhen you haveinflation is that you become worth lessas an individual not just yourmoney so let us say that you're earning$20 an hour that's a pretty decent wagein my opinion if you're earning $20 anhour but there's 10% inflation year onyear that means next year your $20 hasthe purchasing power of$18 and the year after that has apurchasing power of$16.2 and so after two years you've lostalmost um almost 20% of the purchasingpower of your dollar and if your wagesstay the same it means that the value ofyour labor has gone down as well thepurchasing power of your labor is goingdown so it reaches the point withinflation that not just money is beingdevalued but you're being devalued insociety as well that your labor is worthless and less every year which is whypeople eventually make the rationaleconomic decision that it's not worthworking because work doesn't pay youanything and because the working systemdoesn't value you as an individual sopeople try and survive in other means soinflation doesn't just mean that you asyour your money is worth less it meansthat the value of you as a productiveunit in society you're going down invalue year after year after year so ithas a dehumanizing component as well asa a devaluation components in terms ofyour money so right now as I'm surewe're all aware our Western governmentsare printing money like there's notomorrow we're all familiar with thatyes and um part of this is we're we'rein a death spiral for our Fiatcurrencies and our governments know itso they're essentially trying to squeezeas much purchasing power out of thosedollars as they can or Pounds or Yen orEuro before they become completelyworthless and when the government spendsmoney whichever government it is theyget the first spending of that money thefirst cycle so they get the maximumvalue out of it by the time it tricklesdown to you after multiple cycles ofpurchasing and inflation is eaten awayat it the citizens are the the bottom ofthe pile and when they get their handson that that flow of money it's alreadybeen devalued so uh because of thiswe're seeing the government's talkingabout how do we what do we do when ourFiat currencies are worthless and what'sbeing talked about around the world iscbdcs now before we get to cbdcs we havethe rise of decentralized Finance so umdecentralized Finance is a rationaleconomic alternative to Fiat currenciesbecause with Fiat currencies thegovernment can print trillions of themat any moment and every time thegovernment prints a trillion new dollarsit means the value of your dollars andyour savings goes down whether you likeit ornot okay you can't just keep addingtrillions and trillions and trillions ofdollars to the system and expect thatthe dollar in your pocket will retainthe same purchasing power it won't sowhen the government um prints like $2trillion do deficit on an annual basiseverybody on a fixed income is losingout retirees and those on SocialSecurity benefits everybody's losing outnow at the moment we operate with acentralized Financial system and acentralized Financial system system uhoperates through the banking system soif you want to have a bank account youdon't you have to apply to a bank for abank account isn't that right you applyfor to open a bank account and theydecide whether they want to give you abank account and if they give you theright to get to have a bank account theymay have a minimum requirement to havein the bank account to have a bankaccount open there and then if you wantto wire money you try wiring money thesedays if you're in a regional bank andyou want to wire money to a friend inHawaii you go through all kinds ofquestions before they wire your money toanother bank and that's because thebanks don't have much money these daysthey're mostly liquid for various otherreasons well the point is we have acentralized Financial system so that ifI want to wire money to my mother inEngland I have to give instructions tomy bank in beran Springs Michigan andthat Regional Bank sends the money tolet's say JP Morgan in New York and JPMorgan's corresponding bank is Lloyd'sin London but it may go through the Bankof China on the way to London and whenit gets to Lloyd's in London they thenforward it onto my mother's local bankand then they tell her that money'sarrived and at any stage in that processany of those Banks can turn back thattransfer and you can't stop them turningit back in in AFM just recently we wiredsome money out to Romania and it gotsent back by the People's Bank ofChina and we said well China how did itget through China and it turned out thatwe wired through a Mera prize and Merprize's corresponding bank with banks inRomania was the People's Republic ofChina The People's Bank of China theCommunist Central Bank we wereastonished that the Communists sent ourmoney back to us and we praise the Lordfor that but the point is that to be aplayer and you can be Frozen at thetouch of abutton if the Department of Justice orthe Department of Treasury doesn't likeyour transactions you can be frozen outand there is no judicial review of thatjust as you can be put on a no fly nofly list and there is no no judicialoversight of that either now that maynot mean a lot to many people here but Ifly of every week and the thought ofbeing stuck in you know Zambia orArmenia I mean on a no fly zone is aserious you knowpossibility and so I don't want to bestuck on the other side of the world Iwant to get home so because of this wehave defi defi is decentralized financeand this is where um withcryptocurrencies people are saying we'renot going to have a centralized systemwe have to ask Banks for permissions doFinance we're going to do peer-to-peerfinancing without an intermediary bankand that is known as decentralizedfinance and that's why thatcryptocurrencies have been so popularnow I'm not recommendingcryptocurrencies tonight I think theyrepresent an era an era an area ofeconomic freedom that our governmentswhich have totalitarian Tendencies wantto close down but uh for a while cryptoshave provided a valuable functionparticularly with with remittances let'ssay from Britain to Nigeriaso what's happening now is that ourWestern governments anticipate the deathof our Fiat currencies that the USdollar is basically doomed and so ourWestern governments are developingdigital currencies issued by the centralbanks and in Britain it's calledbritcoin there's a digital Euro uh hereit may be called the digital dollar orsome other name for it and transferswill be recorded as a transfer of tokensbetween digital dollars on theblockchain and if you follow thefinancial news you'll know that even nownot only do we have fed now which is abanking peer-to-peer system that goesthrough the Federal Reserve um but nowsome of the US banks are now turningyour dollars into tokens when youdeposit money with them and you may noteven realizethat so this is happening in front ofour eyes and uh the the the the neteffect of this is that uhcbdcs will Central economic power in away never seen before in humanhistory so when we see in the Book ofRevelation chapter 13 that the End ofTime the second beast of Revelationwhich we understand to be the UnitedStates of America will be able to imposeGlobal no buy no sell sanctions we sayhow is that possible we see with therise of cbdcs that the most powerfulperson in the world will be the chair ofthe US Federal Reserve because at atouch of a button they will be able toswitch you off or Swit cut you out ofthe global economic system at the touchof a button and you may say that'sthat's just a conspiracy theory pasttoine oh no it's not uh the EasternCaribbean many of the islands alreadyhave a cbdc for the Eastern Caribbeancountries in in the the Caribbean orCaribbean and that CBD system froze fora couple of months earlier this year andnobody could access to any of theirtokens and that created major economichardship um but listen to what the bankof England says here uh Tom muttsondirector of financial technology thebank of England he said this there couldbe some socially beneficial outcomes forthat preventing activity which is seento be socially harmful in some way sothe question is who determines what issociallyharmful it'll be thegovernment and as we saw in Canadaduring the trucker Convoy if thegovernment doesn't like the economicactivity of certain of its citizens theycan freeze your accounts they can theycan freeze your bank account they canfreeze your cryptocurrencies they canfreeze your pay your GoFundMe donationsand so withcbdcs Central governments willessentially have absolute control overevery transaction you evermake and they can program it in a waythat determines what you're allowed tospend it on so it used to be I'm notsure if it's still the case it used tobe that if you got Federal food stampsyou could spend it on twinkies andCoca-Cola but you couldn't spend thoseFederal food stamps on um um healthyvegetables like you you the governmentwas determining what you could spendthese food stamps on and they weresteering that that money so it wouldsupport the American Meat industry orthe American dairy industry for instancerather than let's say ve um vegan foodor um what's the food without chemicalsOran organic yeah yeah organicchemicals so the bottom line is thiswith the rise ofcbdcs um we are essentially going toenter in what is what will effectivelybe a digital dungeon and you will loseall we will all lose our economicfreedoms there's an excellent paper hereyou should download it and read it whythe US should reject Central Bankdigital currencies um from the Bitcoinpolicy Institute because I understandbit Bitcoin don't wantcbdcs but uh the fact is there are manymany good reasons why we should not havecbdcs but the bottom line is ittransfers absolute economic power to thegovernment away from the individualcitizen so in the American Century the20th century we celebrated liberaldemocracy free market capitalism M andwe idealized we didn't put it intopractice but we idealized smallgovernments to avoid the temptation tocorruption and authoritarianism implicitin all human leaders regardless of whatSociety they live in but we're nowliving in what some people call theChinese Century where we're moving moreto a philosophy of a strong State thelarge State and a domineering state inthe economy that directs the economicsocial and economic values of entirepopulations so cbdc they penalizelowincomehouseholds see many people do not haveaccess to Banks they don't want toparticipate in the banking systembecause of bank service fees andpenalties particularly those who livefrom paycheck to paycheck many peopledon't want to be in the banking systemas it is today but once you go tocbdcs everybody has to be in theeconomic system nobody can exist outsideof the economic system let me give you apractical example if I want my boy tocut the front lawn I'll say David I'llput my hand in my pocket and say Here's$10 could you cut the cut cut the frontloan for me and the government has noidea about that transaction it's nottaxed it's not recorded anyway he putsthe $10 in his pocket we're both happyand it's a private peer-to-peertransaction but when you no longer havecash and everything is a digital tokenif I want to pay my boy for cutting myfront loan I'll say I'll give you 10digital dollars for that that has to gothrough the government the FederalReserve every transaction goes to theFederal Reserve and it can be taxed withevery transaction so what it means whenyou have cbdcs is there's no longer anunofficial economy everybody is forcedinto an economy where every transactiongoes through the Federal Reserve itmeans every transaction can be taxedeven among those family members and inThe Unofficial economy of today um everybank account can be taxed at source viaahaircut we say what is a haircut ahaircut is where the government may saythere there are too many digital dollarsin the system we need to reduce amountsof money in the economy and rather thanraising taxes um on expenditure theyjust take 10% of your bank accountovernight and you may say oh that won'thappen but when I was living in Cypressin 2006 2007 there were too many eurosin the Greek banking system and when theGreek government wanted a bailout fromthe European Central Bank part of thedeal was that they were going to do a10% haircut on every retail bank accountso you woke up the next next morning andthe government just said everybody lost10% of their savings last night noquestions asked and that happened in theEuropean Union just a few years ago sothat shows what governments can do andwhat they're willing to do in order toinfluence the economy um with cbdcsthese are some of the positions theEuropean Central Bank um they can havenegative interest rates where if yousave money um they'll tax you on thatand so that forces you to spend yourmoney as soon as you get itand uh they also uh the the the Cory ofthat is what we're seeing in some partsof the world with cbdcs is that they'regoing to limit um how many uh cbdc unitsyou can have on your bank any one timeso in Europe they're proposing that say3,000 digital EUR balance is the maximumyou can have in your account but let'ssay it cost you €4,000 a month to livein in London well say Frankfurt if youif it costs €4,000 a month to live butthe maximum you can have in your countas€3,000 what does that mean for you as anindividual it means you can't build upeconomic wealth you can't build upsavings you're on you're like a rat on atreadmill you've got to keep workingyou're effectively a slave to the systemyou following the logic of this so we'retying people down into was effectively adigital dungeon um Central Bank orprivate bank banks will will have no noplace in the new cbdc economy andthey'll probably fade from banking alogtogether and uh the problem among themany problems for cbdcs is that when wasthe last time a government ID IT projectwent well well government IT projectsare notorious for being failures um allaround the world and to have the wholeworld part of of a CBD system where youknow you buy some you go on a holiday toNigeria you visit family members inGhana and and you make a transactionthere and somehow the global it systemsare robust enough and not hackable umthe idea that's going to work in myopinion is kind of far-fetched givenwhat we've seen so uh in the EuropeanCentral Bank they're actively developingthe digital Euro to be rolled out by 26they're calling for savings limits of€3,000 per citizen it will beprogrammable so it can only be spent onsocially desirable activities and alltransactions will be recorded and whenthey did a public consultation acrossthe EU last year the number one issuethat people raised was the question ofprivacy that is we don't want thegovernment knowing what we're spendingour moneyonnow the government can figure out whatyou're spending your money on by andlarge here rightnow but withcbdcs um certain certain policies can beimplemented so for instance um these aresome of the proposals in Europe rightnow that the EUR the digital Euro willbe restricted in how far you can spendit from your homethat means you can'ttravel we'll allow you like a 30 mileradius and that's going to cut down ontravel to save the environment so youcan only spend your money within acertain radius of your home for instancethese are some of the proposals thathave been coming out that ties in with15minute cities these other ideas thatare out there so withcbdcs the government can determinewhether you can for instance buy gunsand ammunition or Bibles from the spiritof Prophecy if the great controversy isviewed as hate speech then you can nolonger buy great controversy if thegovernment says digital dollars cannotbe used to buy great controversy forokay um if the the King James version isdeemed to be transphobic and homophobicthen that would be you can't buy it withnew digital dollars you'd have to buy amore lgbtq friendly translation let'sput it that way if you can buy a Bibleat all so you see that the the Rival ofcbdcs is transferring massive economicpower almost totalitarian power to ourgovernments and as we've seen in thelast two to three years governments allaround the world have this addiction toauthoritarian power over theircitizens uh the UK is actively pursuingthebritcoin President Biden signedexecutive order 14067 early last yearthat will lead to a digital dollar herein these states in a couple of years andin the language of that executive orderand you can Google it and download itfor yourself there are the provisionsfor the federal government to be able totrack and monitor every transaction ofall US citizensso when they've made those Provisionswithin the executive order you can seewhat the government is thinkingabout so um use your economic freedomswhile you can so cbdc data would be heldby central banks online processors andretailers that would create vastdatabases which as we know are hackablethat means they have much larger risk ofidentity theft what we have now andbeyond that freedom depends onprivacy the ability to have a conversation freedom of speech freedom ofeconomic activity freedom of travelfreedom of worship uh that means youneed to have privacy that means thestate has no control over that aspect ofyour being and privacy is the right tohave a self an autonomous self a moralbeing without the government determiningeverything about you and those who donot care about freedom of speech arethose who have nothing to say and thosewho do not care about privacy tend to bethose who are merely conduits andreflectors of today's dominant narrativeso CBD CDs will enable global censorshipdeplatforming of alternate voicessocioeconomic exclusion of those who whodon't fall in line with the dominantnarrative the stifling of ideas anddebate in favor of the narratives ideasand expenditures favored by the Elitesin society and censorship in any societyis normally done to maintain the powerof those Elites in society at that timeso the elites censor their society inorder nobody can question the power andauthority of the elites within thatSociety at that time and so I hope whatI'm doing here is just just just openingour eyes to some of the things that arehappening in front of us um that arethat are leading to the Fulfillment ofRevelation 13 and global economicmandates just before Jesus comes againjust continuing on this I think I'vementioned this point before centralbanks would inevitably becomeinstruments of government coercion theywould approve all loans and expendituresonly for socially desirable orpolitically approved transactions andthey'll be able to freeze the accountsof those who have unacceptable views asprime minister Trudeau said in Canada uhto the elites of society examples todate are what prime minister Trudeau didin freezing the bank accounts theGoFundMe donations and thecryptocurrencies of the truckers Convoydonors and in China of the social creditsystem and I would encourage you if youhave the time and inclination to startresearching the social credit system inChina and the social credit system inChina is designed to apply soft pressurein almost every aspect of your life sothat you become a model Citizen and amodel C citizen is one who cheers whenthe government says cheer and agovernment who jumps when the governmentsays jump and who only goes where thegovernment says they can go and it's aand it's it's a soft form oftotalitarianism and we have this arisingin America now in the form of cancelculture um at a national level that wesee all around us so some examples ofwhat cbdcs can do um the the CentralBank could customize restrictions forevery individual so you might have acustomizable set of restrictions with asocial credit system in place like inChina if you if you say the right thingsyou watch the right movies you put theright thumbs up to the right politicianson social media then you can expand yourrange of purchasers so if you arepolitically in line with a dominantpower in society then your cbdcs can beused for more purchasing um optionsbut if you are supporting the oppositionthen your cbdc purchase options can begreatly narrowed um the government couldrestrict the purchase of targeted itemsit can restrict or eliminate air traveltaxes and fines can be automaticallydeducted your purchases can becontrolled expiry dates on your cbdcscan be established if you don't spend insay 60 days they expire they can putlocation limits on purchases so you'relimited to a certain area ofgeographical travel food purchases canbe rationed and spending limits can beset so this is where we're going withcbdcs now I'm not making this up thereare many many journalists politicianswho are raising the alarm about thiskind of stuff because people see thatthat this is leading us towards um a aneconomic and digital dungeon from whichThere Is No Escape so cbdc cbdcs willour ultimate control on a global basisof all transactions for every P personon planet Earth either by a one worldgovernmentor by a western system of collectivegovernments governments that can assignaccess and value to every individual inthe world and if you follow the newsthere are many calls for cbdcs to betied to digital IDs and even to GlobalHealth passports Africa is is actuallyleading the way in some of theircountries their cooperations in Africato tie cbdcs to digital identities andso um Africa is more advanced in otherparts of the world in this um but accessneutralization will be based on yoursocial credit score such as what youbelieve who you vote for what you poston social media what faith group you'rea part of etc etc does this all soundlike good news to you no it's horrifyingnews sister white in manuscript uh 114in1899 she spoke about an upcoming CivilWar in the United States now she didn'tspeak about this before the US Civil Warin the 1860s she spoke about it in1899 I've given you the reference thereshe spoke about the fact that there isgreat income inequality in in the UnitedStates and that the poor do not haveaccess to food because the rich andPowerful restrict the access of food andman and artificially raise the price andwe are seeing those kind of socialdivisions take place in our nation todaywe have food deserts in many of ourmajor cities um there are parts of ourmajor cities where there are nosupermarkets for instance and uh peopleare struggling to put to pay for thefood on their on their table more andmore each month with inflation andsister white talks about this incomeinequality becoming so difficult insociety that it leads to a Civil War andthat's what she says in that quote thereit leads to the time of trouble ofDaniel 121 and2 such as never has beensince nations came into existence so uhwe have these These are trends that leadto what we see happening in Revelation13 uh the another thing that we'reseeing today is ID iCal division wouldyou agree that America is nowideologicallypolarized yes if you post on socialmedia I like apples somebody's going topost back and say what about bananas I'mliterally shaking with anger you'reexcluding the bananas and the orangeshow dare you you must be bananaphobiaetc etc and let's have the woke Mob seton somebody because I happens likeapples and because I'm not inclusiveenough of all vegetables or even if youknow the potatoes ident if vegetablesthey including them in the veget thefruit um you know you're going to getinto trouble so we live in a world todaywhere if you say um I like apples you'regoing to get into trouble it's ratherridiculous uh but we are facing extremeideological division globally andnationally and within our citiesand this ideological division reflectsum mutually exclusive worldviews andthat polarization is affecting theAdventist Church in North Americaour institutions our colleges ouruniversities our Hospital Systems ourunions and our localcongregations it's affectingeverybody I mean I I hesitate to mentionit but just down the road from here wehave advent's wealth Health AdventistHealth West Hospital and I read on theirwebsite two months ago they're now doinggender affirming Care at advent's HealthWest let me be clear that's themutilation of children for financialprofit and turning them into lifelongpatients that generate massive profitsfor thehospitals but don't really give anyhealth gain to the children who areinvolved I find it appalling thatAdventists with Adventist Health messageshould be mutilating children for thesake of federaldollars it'sappalling Imean some Anglo Saxon words come to mymind but I won't usethem but it is appallinglike how can we claim to be restoringthe image of God inmankind when we are taking away part ofthat image which is the ability toreproduce and we're replacing the imageof God which is the ability to reproduceum we're replacing that with the imageof Satan because Satan cannotreproduce it's a horrifyingthing and so that's just one example ofthe ideological division within ourNorth American Division so in the Westin America say on the left there's therise of critical theory more popularknown as cultural Marxism on the rightthere's the rise of economic populismreactionary nationalism xenophobia andemphasis on culture and border andeconomic security and I won't mentionthe names of politicians but we can allput names to this division it's it'shappening on a national level and thatpolarization is taking place all acrossthe west and in fact in many other partsof the world today and it's transcendingall previous economic barriersI just want to think for a few minutesabout critical theory here becausecritical theory is what's driving theagenda in America right now and this isa definition from um Hawk Heimer uhthat's the website there new newdiscourses and I think I would encourageyou to read the new discourses websiteit's by a guy called James Lindsay whowas a radical atheist who was slowlybecoming a Christian and um because ofhis realization of what's happening inAmerica today but the definition I puton the screen there is from a guy calledHawk Heimer and in the 30s there was abunch of Jewish um Marxist um economicprofessors they were they fled NaziGermany in the early 1930s when Hitlercame to power and they came to Americathey became known as the FrankfurtSchool of philosophy and they pushedcritical theory now critical theory isnot um it's not a neutral IDE ideologyit's designed to to destroy thejudeo-christian foundations of the Westand replace it with a sec secular andatheist and Marxist state so this is thedefinition from Hawk Heimer he sayswhereas a traditional theory is meant tobe descriptive of some phenomenonusually social such as anthropology orsociology and aims to understand how itworks and why it works that way acritical theory should proceed from aprescriptive normative moral vision forsociety that is Marx's Vision describehow the item being critiqued fails thatVision usually in a systemic sense suchas systemic racism or systemictransphobia Etc and PRT prescribeactivism to subvert dismantled disruptoverthrow or change it this use of theword critical is drawn from Marx'sinsistent that everything be ruthlesslycriticized and from his admonition thatthe point of studying Society is tochange it so this definition of criticaltheory from Hawk Heimer one of thefounders you know of the FrankfurtSchool of philosophy basically says thisum the the the the the West originallybuilt on a Judea Christian Foundationneeds to be overturned by a Marxistatheist superstate that does a rightwith it does away with inalienablerights given you by God at creation andnow all your rights given you by thestate and that what the state gives thestate can also take away from you and sohow do we destroy the West well we we wewe have this long march and as Mao hadhis long march to conquer China with theRed Army in the 1940s so there is a longmarch by which one every Westerninstitution one after the other Falls tocritical theory and to criticaltheorists and so critical theory um isborn out of postmodernism as well it's aphilosophy of Despair um and it leadsthat the on the if the roots are areDespair and Marxism the the tree thetrunk is critical theory and then thefruits of the tree are lgbtq studies fatstudies postcolonial studies criticalrace Theory critical gender Theory etcetc those are the fruits on the tree butthey all come back to a philosophy ofDespair and ultimately I believe withMarx to to a Satanist ideology so thisis what's driving what's happened on thestreets of America todayand in much of the North AmericanDivision so how does postmodernityinfluence this critical theory well um Ithink I've shown this somewhere elseonline but there are two principles ofof postmodern Theory one is a radicalskepticism about whether objectiveknowledge or truth is possible that isthere is no absolute truth and we prefercultural constructivism and moralrelativism in society and all truth istied to a cultural frame of referencewhat this means is there is no absolutetruth and that you have your truth and Ihave my truth but there is no absolutetruth now the very statement there is noabsolute truth is in itself an absolutestatement so if we forget that kind ofproblem with the statement that there isno absolute truth um we realize thatwhen it says culturalconstructivism this is why gendertheorists say that gender is a socialconstruct it is not a biological realityif it's a social construct it can befluid and in every society because tohave different understandings ofmasculinity and femininity that meansyour idea of what a man is and what awoman is can be fluid across differentsocieties and within a society asdifferent people have differentperceptions of what a man and a woman isum cultural constructivists also arguethat race is a cultural construction andand in a sense that's absolutely correctbecause there is only one race the humanrace and so the critical race theory iscorrect in saying that race is a is acultural construct driven by scientificracism that comes out of Darwin and someother atheist rties of the 1800s butthen critical race Theory says eventhough races a cultural construct theythen deal with it in absolute terms asif it's an absolutely real thing um andso that there's a contradiction in termsthere so we have radical skepticismabout whether absolute knowledge ispossible and the other point aboutpostmodernism is that societies areorganized allegedly by the powerful intoidentity groups and hierarchies thatonly serve the elite interests of theeliteand which Define acceptable knowledgeand so um as an example it used to bethat most 747 Pilots with United werewhite middleaged men overweight and overthe age of50 that used to be the norm and whencritical race theorists look at thisthis outcome they say if if most Pilotsare white middle-aged and overweight andover the age of 50 that means that thetraining system and the mechanisms bywhich you become a pilot must besystemic racist therefore we need tochange all the processes by which youbecome a pilot okay so that's how youdeal with systemic racism that allegedlyleads to why certain Pilots are whiteand certain Pilots are not white and Sobased on these things here a criticaltheorist wants to undo these societiesand undo the interests of the elites andthey want to speak up for the oppressedwithin Society rather than serve theinterests of the oppressors withinSociety so the net result of thiscritical theory is that all meaningfulboundaries are to be blurred and thePractical consequence of this is nobodyknows what a woman isanymore nobody knows what a womanis nobody knows what a cat or a dog isor an apple or an orange for thatmatter now why is why is thisso it's because allegedly language isthe tool of the oppressor to hold peoplein place that's how critical theorythinks about language and to a certainENT that is true if I use a racialepithet on somebody who is sayAfrican-American I'm using language todemean them so there is some truth inthe fact that language is a tool ofcontrol and the language we used is usedto denigrate demean and other um thosewho we don't want to be in themainstream of society so there is sometruth to this but the idea that languageis is a tool of the oppressors is takento the point where um if if if I say ifthis is a cup of waterand this little controller wants to be acup of water Why Can't This littleremote here be a cup ofwater if it identifies as a cup of waterwhy not because the moment we Define acup of water as having you know HTO init and a plasticshell uh then we're by definition sayingthat that is not a cup of water and sothe very Act of having a definition notonly defines what's within thedefinition but it defines what's outsidethat definition and what cannot bewithin that definition you followingthis so if you define a man as abiological male with certainchromosomes by definition you're sayingthat a biological female is not a manbecause the moment you you add adefinition to something you definewhat's inside that definition and youdefine what's outside that definitionand that's why language has to bedissolved so it's meaningless so thatthe word man or woman has no no meaningto it no definition so anybody can be aman or or a woman or a penguin or anelephant because language no longer hasmeaning are you following this yeah soall meaningful boundaries are to beblurred now this only works in someareas of life if you're anemployer and you sign a contract withsomeone to work for $20 an hour but youpay them $10 an hour and your employeecomes to you at the first paycheck andsays uh the contract says $20 an hourbut I'm getting paid $10 an hour andyour employer says to you well I Define$20 as $10all right you're soon going to abandonyour postmodern view of language withinseconds because you realize this is notviable within Society if you have youdrive up to a stop sign or the road astop Junction and it says stop and butyou just drive straight through and apolice officer stops you and the policeofficer said you ran through a stop signand you said yes I know and the policeofficer said why didn't you stop for thestop sign you said well because stopmeans one thing to you but it meansanother thing to methat's that there is no commonlyunderstood definition of languageanymore if all language it can it can bekind of evap can be um blurred sothere's no intrinsic meaning becauseit's oppressive that means Societyceases to function if you take it to itslogical conclusion if nothing hasmeaning then words are merely just anaspiration of breath with no intrinsicmeaning but what happens is if I see acat and I want to see say to you I see acatthen my my my brain sends a command tomy tongue and my my tongue forces airout of my lungs and it moves my tonguein a certain way so that um air soundwaves go through the air to youreardrums and I say cat with my vocalcords and so my brain tells my lungs myvocal cords to act in a certain way andas that sound wave goes through the airyour eardrum picks it up and translatesit for your brain so in order forlanguage to function you and I must havea common definition of what those wordsmean otherwise communication isimpossible will you marry me no let'sset the date for tomorrow okay that'swhat happens when communication becomesimpossible if you take these positionssay logical conclusion so languageaccording to critical theory must bedeconstructed that's what we're talkingabout the idea that all cultures areequal um that gets rid of the idea ofcultural imperialism it gets rid of theidea that that you know um it's it'sokay to it's equally okay to eat youknow the leg of a cow or the leg of ahuman being um on a spit they're alldecent Burgers you might say that allcultures are equal and the idea that theindividual is replaced by a groupidentity and this is what's reallyhappening now that um it used to be thatas as Martin Luther King said he longfor the day when you are judged not bythe color of your skin but by thecontent of your character even though wecelebrate Martin Luther King day todaywe have completely rejected what he'ssaid because now it matters not thecontent of your character what mattersis the color of your skin that's theidentity group black brown white AsianHispanic Samoan lgbtq etc etc there aremultiple identity groups out there andyou are either good or bad morally insociety depending on what identity groupyou belong to some identity groupsintrinsically evil some identity groupsare inherently victims and they cannever do anything wrong so this is whatwe had in the Soviet Union where um whenwhen so Stalin was killing off millionsof small farmers called kulacs um therewas an opinion piece in Prav of theofficial newspaper of the Soviet Unionand it said this um as individuals thesmall farmers or the kulacs are guiltyofNothing But as a class they're guilty ofeverything and because you turn onegroup in society against another groupin society that allows ideologically forthe extermination of the of a certaingroup in societyand so for instance when we pushcritical race theory in our Adventistcolleges as some of our colleges aredoing part of critical race Theory saysthat there's something called theinterest convergence hypothesis whichsays that if if a white individual helpsan African-American in any any way shapeor form they only do so because theinterests of the African-Americanindividual converge with the the desireof the white individual to maintainwhite supremacy and racist structures insociety well you think about theimplications of that that principlecalled the interest convergencehypothesis is that is the interests ofwhitesupremacy must coincide with theinterests of of African-AmericanAmericans if you accept that then thenwhite people are irretrievably evilthey're the only act in the interests ofof racist structures and white supremacyand The Logical conclusion is eithersegregation once again which is what'shappening on college campuses all acrossAmerica we're having race segregated grgraduations race segregated umdormitories race segregation was turnhappening some our campuses now notAdventist but in the secular World TheLogical conclusion is either segregationor extermination because if one group isirretrievably evil then we need to getrid of them if we can't segregate themfrom society and so the Paradox ofliberalism is that we now reach thepoint where we fought segregation in thecivil rights movement and 60 years latercritical race theory is pushing ustowards segregation once again whichwill be a tragedy foreverybody it's atragedy sothis ideologicalDivision I just give an example how itworked out in the SovietUnion the ideologues of the Soviet Unioncreated artificial distinctions in theagriculture sector Waging War on thesmall farmers known as the kolac toforce collectivization of Agricultureand grain grain production in particularStalin engaged in a process of forccollectivization dekulakization and thenfamine genocide it was a a deliberatestrategy over four years in late 1920searly 1930s where they forcibly took allthe animals and the agricultural landand put them into Collective Farms thenthey executed people for eating anythingoff the farm that wasn't on their dailyration and the net result of that was inthe process of collectivization many ofthe farmers killed their animals ratherthan allow Stalin to get his hands onthemdekulakization meant eliminating between7 and 10 million people by starvationand execution and and um taking childrento concentration camps and just starvingthem to death and then famine genocideacross the Ukraine that was to impose aMarxist Vision on the agriculturalsector of the USSR perhaps the singlegreatest crime in human history drivenby critical theoryideology and that same Marxist ideologyis now dominant in our media among oursocial media Giants in our government inour higher educ higher educationinstitutions defining new good and evilgroups I don't need to mention what someof those are I think you're aware ofwhat some of those groups are today somegroups are celebrated as victims othergroups are demonized as oppressors ifyou are born um if you are bornheterosexual cisgender male and whitefrom the moment you are born you'reguilty of all evil in human history andthat's a terrible um burden ofexistential guilt to place on anybodyit's not true but that's the guilt thatis placed on people and in order toabsolve yourself that guilt you have tobecome a social justice Warrioradvocating for the rights of anothermarginalized group that's why mostsocial justice Warriors are whitemiddle-aged kids who've gone to collegebecause they've been indoctrinated thisideology they have to absolve themselvesof their existential guilt for beingwhite or heterosexual or cisgenderwhatever the case may be and in order toabsolve themselves of that guilt theyhave to become social justice Warriorsor activists for some allegedlymarginalized group some groups aremarginalized but it's a form of like ummanipulation psychological manipulationso this ideology leads to socialdemonization in the west socialexclusion and if unrestrained it willlead to social eradication so how doesthat apply to the Book of Revelation andthe coming of Jesus well at the end oftime there's going to be a majority anda minority group The eschatological thatmeans end time majority they're going tobe people who wander after the firstBeast of Revelation 13 that is thepapacy accepting the dominant narrativeand the eschatological minority that isthose who are faithful to God theyfollow the lamb wherever he goes andthey reject the dominant narratives ofthe Fallen governments of this world sothere's that basic division at the endof time uh the the the majority at theend of time they receive the mark of thebeast and the minority at the End ofTime have the Seal of God on theirforeheads the majority end of time arethe majority of Earth inhabitants andthe eological minority are by definitionthe minority of Earth inhabitantsthey're drawn from every nation tribelanguage and people and the majoritywill oppos economic exclusion andultimately the death penalty on theminority group we see that in Revelationthe last 13 ver five verses ofRevelation 13 was the eschatologicalminority end of time will be hated byall men but they will be loved by Godand they'll be persecuted by themajority group now this is not news toif you're anAdventist but this is what the Book ofRevelation talks about and the reasonwhy I'm talking about this is if you'dhave if in the last three years we sawSociety turn like that to hating acertain minority is that notright and that Minority included peopleof every nation tribe language andpeople and they woke up one me onemorning to be demonized by all the mediaaround the world demonized by employersdemonized by colleges demonized by themedia demonized by Hollywood every youwere just demonized if you were in thatMinority I'm not saying whether thatMinority was in the right or wrongtonight what I am saying is that if youdon't think that the world will turn ona minority just like that you didn'tlive through the last 3years and this is what the Book ofRevelation talks about and the minoritywill be those who do not follow thedominant Narrative of of the powers ofthis world but they follow the lambwherever he leads and they believe thereis such thing as absolute truth andabsolute truth is found in the person ofJesusChrist and so this this division ofsociety um we've seen it recently we'veseen it with critical theory we've seenit in the pandemic and we're going tosee it again at the end of time now meatTrend number four is papaldomination um and this comes right up tothis week actually so just let just toset out this is what various popes havesaid about their how the papacy sees itsrole in global society and so Pope pusthe 11th in1931 um in a cyclical in entitled the40th year after another encyclical 1891which aligned the papacy with Marxistideology this is what he said P 11th hesaid we lay down the principles long agosince clear established by Leo the 13ththat was in the inle of 1891 that it isour right that is the papacy's right andour duty that is the papacy's duty todeal authoritatively with social andeconomicproblems so the papacy doesn't justclaim to be the spiritual leaders ofRoman Catholics around the world thepapacy has defined through the throughthis encyclical um that it that thepapacy believes it has the ultimateright to determine social and economicproblems for all ofhumanity now you can find this stuffthis is openly available on the internetthese encyclicals are on the Vatican webpage this is the pope speaking excathedra ex cathedra means he's speakingfrom the teaching Office of the papacythat means he is speakinginfallibly that this is God's word tohumanity that the papacy has theultimate right to reorder Society forthe for what the papacy believes are arethe best interests of societiesworldwide Vatican 2 1965 said this it isthe right of Public Authority to preventanyone from misusing his privateproperty to the detriment of the whatcommon good and uh the common good isdefined by the papacy as the commonownership of all Goods that everybodyhas based on their need and that if youhave something that I need I have themoral right to Simply take it from youyou as the owner of that item do nothave the moral right to withholdsomething from me which is why in Brazilin the 1980s the Bishops of of Brazilthe Catholic Bishops were justifyingriers and lutters taking from the storeswhat they wanted because they wereredistributing Goods now um the papacygoes on to say 1967 Pope Paul I 6 in anecal known as popular and progressiosaid all rights whatsoever includingthose of property and of free Commerceare subordinated to this principle thatis the commongood now in papalencyclicals it is the exclusive right ofthe papacy to determine the common goodforHumanity and what they're saying here isthat if you think you have the right toprivate property you only can haveprivate property if you use it in a waythat the papacy determines is in thecommon good of all humanity and if youdon't use your goods in the common goodof all Humanity the papacy has the rightto instruct governments or itself totake that property from you for instanceby taxation and redistribute it so thepapacy isn't just claiming to be aspiritual power they're claiming intheir encyclicals to have the right toorder all economic activity on on planetEarth and this is all a matter of publicrecord this happened in many of ourlifetimes Pope Paul v 6 goes on to sayin the same in cyclical thisInternational collaboration on aworldwide scale requires institutionsthat will prepare coordinate and directit until finally there is an establishedorder of justice that is universallyrecognized who does not see thenecessity of thus establishingprogressively a world Authority capableof acting effectively in the jial andpoliticalsectors so the papacy is essentiallypushing for a global Authority that hasthe right to reorder all societies alongpolitical and economic lines for whatthe papacy determines is the common goodof all Humanityare you all feeling cheered up heretonight yes yeah yeah yeah yeahyeahso if you look at the catechism of theCatholic Church which again you can buyany book storing by on Amazon this iswhat paragraph 2188 says this is theofficial teaching of the church inrespecting religious and the common goodthat's that should say in in respectingreligious Liberties I missed that out soit says in respecting religiousLiberties and the what the common goodof all Christians should seekrecognition of Sundays and the church'sholy days as legal holidays they have togive everyone a public example of prayerrespect and joy and defend theirTraditions as a precious contribution tothe spiritual life of society if acountry's legislation or other reasonsrequire work on Sunday that day shouldnevertheless be lived as the day of ourdeliverance which lets us shareand this fesal gathering this assemblyof the firstborn who are enrolled inheaven now according to the catechism ofthe Catholic church Sunday is anintrinsic manifestation of the commongood for GlobalSociety so when the Catholic church hasthe right to determine the common goodfor all humanity and the Catholic Churchthe papacy claims the right to umreorder Society along so socio economicsocial and economic lines for the commongood and then you look at the catechismaccording to the catechism Sundaysacredness is an intrinsic part of thecommongood and as Adventists we've longpreached that the first past ofRevelation 13 the papacy seeks toenforce false worship via the secondbeast of Revelation 13 that is theUnited States of America they seek toenforce false worship and what we'reseeing in the in the Catholic Church'sown documents is that Sunday sacrednessand Sunday wa Sunday worship is anintrinsic part of the common good forallHumanity so what we've been saying asAdventist preachers for the last 120 130years is exactly what the papacy hasbeen saying for the last 120 yearsthroughout its encyclicals the papacy ispushing for the right to determine thecommon good and the common good includesworship on a day in contradiction to thefourth Commandment of the 10 of the TenCommandments which is Sunday worshipcoming close to the home now PopeFrancis issued his encyclical known aslat C all all praise unto you to God onMay 2015 just before the Paris climatechange treaty or uh conference andparagraph 237 the nice thing about theCatholic church is they always haveparagraph numbers for their statementsso it's easy to track them down if youtype into Google aato c237 this is whatwill come up uh this is what PopeFrancis was pushing for back in 2015 hesaid on Sunday our participant a in theEucharist has special importance Sundaylike The Jewish Sabbath he didn't saythe biblical Sabbath he said like TheJewish Sabbath is meant to be a daywhich heals our relationship with Godwith others with ourselves and with theworld there's there's an environmentalaspect to it Sunday is the is the day ofthe Resurrection the first day of thenew creation whose first fruits are theLord's risen Humanity the pledge of thefinal transformation of all createdreality it also proclaims man's Eternalrest in God now in lato C the the popepushed for Sunday sacredness globallyfor two reasons one is because we canthen um celebrate the Eucharist that isum Pagan and blasphemous worship whenwhen when the bread literally allegedlybecomes the the physical body of Christand the the wine becomes the blood ofChrist quite literally and which is ofcourse not true but is a dogma of theCatholic church and therefore Christ issacrificed again and again and again ona daily basis at every Eucharist indenial of what the scripture teachesthis is false worship so the Catholicchurch in laato SE pushed for Sundaysacredness so we can all celebrate theEucharist as a global family and numbertwo so that we can give the earth abreak from the Relentless cycle ofconsumption that is it's going to blesstheenvironment and so when the papacy ispushing Sunday sacredness as part of thecommon good for all of humanity andthey're claiming the right to determinethe common good which includes Sundayworship we need to pay attention asAdventists and then just this weektwo daysago Pope Francis issued a followup tolaato se known as la la deam praise untoGod or praise God in Latin he called itan Apostolic exaltation a word ofencouragement from the Apostles of theHoly Father Francis to all people ofGoodwill it's not just addressed toCatholics it's addressed to all ofHumanity on the climate crisis and umthere's the website there it's theVatican website vatican.va you candownload it for yourself it's a globalstatement it's in dozens of languagesyou scroll down to the English SpanishFrench what other language you want itto read and in the English version and Iprinted out the English version herejust before I came here what's strikingabout this document is how often thepapacy uses phrases like our common homeand our common good these phrasesrepeatedly appear throughout thisdocument and what the papacy PopeFrancis I shouldlet me just do a bitofokay never mind there's a spellingmistake there Pope Francis it's not poPopeFrancyso what he says there paragraph 35 it isnot helpful to confuse multilateralismwith a world Authority concentrated inone person or in an elite with excessivepower when we talk about the possibilityof some form of world Authorityregulated by law we need not necessarilythink of a personal Authority we arespeaking above all of more effectiveWorld organizations equipped with thepower to provide for the global commongood which we've already defined in thecatechisms being Sunday sacredness soequipped with the power to provide forthe global common goods the eliminationof hunger and poverty and the suredefense of fundamental human rights theissue is that they must be endowed withreal Authority in such way as to providefor the attainment of certain essentialgoals in this way there could come abouta multilateralism that is not dependenton changing political conditions or theinterest of a certain few and possessesa stable efficacy now when we spokeabout the world economic forum and CLASchwab about an hour ago CLA Schwab hasspoken about the great reset and heargued that the problems of planet Earthare at a global level and becauseNational governments operate from anational perspective and they do nottake decisions that are in the on thegood of all of humanitytherefore the world economic forum andCLA Schwab are pushing for a globalauthority to have um a global power tohave Global authority to impose certaindecisions on all of humanity uh in orderto solve Humanity's Global problemsthat's what the world economic forum ispushing that's otherwise known as thegreat reset now this week alone theCatholic Church the papacy is once againpushing for a global Authority with thepower to provide for the global commongood and we've already seen in thecatechism that part of the common goodis defined in the catechism as Sundaysacredness so it goes on to say thisparagraph 42 you could choose many thereare many paragraphs go on like this thisis from this week our world has becomeso multipolar at the same time socomplex that a different framework forEffective cooperation is required thissounds like the great reset it is notenough to think only of balances ofpower but also of the need to provide aresponse to new problems and to react tothe global mechanisms to theenvironmental Public Health cultural andSocial Challenges especially in order toconsolidate respect for the most elehuman rights social rights and theprotection of our common home it is amatter of establishing Global andeffective rules that can permitproviding for This Global safeguardingnow um this is vague sounding languagebut the papacy is calling this week fora global authority to um mandateGlobal rules in the social economicSphere for the commongood and if you look throughout thepapes and cyclicals they claim therights to be that Global power to be thethe that that powerfulvoice paragraph 59 if there is seereinterest in making cop 28 that's meetingin a few days time in Dubai a historicevent that's the climate change meetingif there's any sincere interest tomaking it a historic event that honorsand Nobles us as human beings then onecan only hope for binding forms of anytransition that meet three conditionsthat they be efficient obligatory andreadilymonitored this in order to achieve thebeginning of a new process marked bythree requirements that it be drasticintense and count on the commitment ofall this is not what has happened so farand only a process of this sort canenable International politics to recoverits credibility since only in thisconcrete manner will it be possible tosignificantly reduce carbon dioxidelevels and to prevent even greater evilsat this timeso the papacy is calling for a worldAuthority that has the ability to toimpose obligatory um changes on planetEarth um to solve the climate crisiswhich is why I believe that the climatecrisis will be the excuse to BringingGlobal Sunday lockdowns and climatelockdowns and Sunday worship and the thetrampling of conscience let's go back towhat the pope said in 1931 P the 11th welay down the principles long ago clearlyestablished by Leo the 13th that it isour right the papacy's rights and thepapacy's duty to deal authoritativelywith social and economicproblems so when we as Adventists talkabout the two beasts of Revelation 13the papacy seeking to dominate the worldand impose false worship uh switchingfrom Sabbath to Sunday worship breakingthe fourth Commandment and that thosemandates are upheld by the United Statesof America um I would respectfullysuggest that that you have to be willingy blinds not to see the pieces of thejigsaw puzzle coming together in frontof our veryeyes which tells us that the coming ofJesus is issoon because that final crisis is goingto happenrapidly it's going to happenrapidly so what about you and I in thiswell there is a mega Trend that wehaven't spoken about yet and that is thegospel is going to go to the wholeworld and it's my joy and privilege toserve with Adventist Frontier missionsand everybody here lives and works inPortland Oregon and that means that Godhas placed you in this portion of hisVineyard in order to share the gospelwith those who live here or wherever youmay happen to live acts of the Apostlesays this Zeal for God and His causemove the disciples to Bear witness tothe gospel with Mighty power should nota like Zeal fire our hearts with adetermination to tell the story ofredeeming Love Of Christ and himcrucified it is the privilege of everyChristian not only to look for but towhat to hasten the coming of the Saviorso this world is passing away this worldis dying this world is filled withInjustice it has environmentaldegradation it has racism it has povertyit has income inequality we know thesethings but there is a coming KingKingdom that is built on righteousnessand Justice it is a kingdom where thelion the child shall lead the lion oflamb and they shall lie down together itis a kingdom where every tear will bewiped away where death and disease andsorrow will be no more and the Sea willgive up her deadand God's Throne is built onrighteousness and Justice and mercy andthat's the kingdom that we as Christiansare called to exemplify in this worldand to point people in Hope towards thatcoming Kingdom so if you look at thismap here this is planetEarth um and if you look there there's asquare there on on the screen and uhthis doesn't work on the screen thereyou see there's a blue box on the screenNorth Africa the Middle East India andSoutheast Asia that is known as a 104Mission window uh that is where thegreat bulk of the world's unreached bythe gospel live it's the home of IslamHinduism Buddhism animism and andAtheism over there in China and uh about40% of the world today has yet to hearthe name of JesusChrist and that percentage is growingall the time we're falling behind withall of our media and if you look at thatred circle there are more people live inthat red circle on planet Earth thanoutside of that red circleso if you're going to go fishing forfish that's where you want tofish isn't thatright you go fishing where you knowthere are fish if you want to have thechance to save as many people for JesusChrist it's our privilege to serve himhere in Portland Oregon but it's alsoour privilege to think well what aboutwhere there are more fish and anywhereelse and uh how do we bring them intoGod's kingdom as well so that miss thatCircle that I show on the map there hasthe largest Hindu country in the worldwhich is India the largest Buddhistcountries in the world China ThailandJapan and myamar the largest Muslimcountries in the world and they're notno not in the Middle East the largestMuslim countries are Indonesia IndiaPakistan and Bangladesh the largest SEcountry in the world that is India thelargest Shinto country in the world thatis Japan and the largest atheist countryin the world that is China and God isnot willing that any should perish inany of these landsChrist sent his son into the world thatevery person living in these countriesmight besaved he did not send his son into theworld just so that westers could besaved he sent his son into world thatall peoples might be saved so when weparticipate in in Mission In in PortlandOR in Oregan or in California or inAmerica or in the 1040 Mission window weare aligning our lives with the will ofGod and then we can pray that thy willbe done on Earth as it is in heaven andif I align my life with God's heart forthe unreached that means that I may notcontrol what happens in society but whenI say thy will be done on Earth as it isin heaven at least in my life I'm goingto align my will with the will of myheavenly father so I'm going to beinvolved in mission for the sake ofJesus Christ and there are many ways wecan do it my challenge you tonight isget involvedsomehow don't just sit on the sidelinesget involvedsomehow and if you're not sure what youcan do ask your local Elders or Pastoris there something I can do for the Lordwe'll start asking God In Prayer so ifyou look at the map there the bluecountries if you look at if you look atthe distribution of Humanity on planetEarth the uh the the purple countriesthere represent all practicingChristians in the world today about halfabillion if you look at that little redpart of the map the country of La yousee that on the screen there southeastAsia there's little red strip do you seethere you see thailands and Vietnam andbetween them you've got La in Cambodiain red can you see that on thescreen uh right there it's justunderneath the mid break there you gotThailand then you got Vietnam is thelong purple strip there and between yougot two little two little red countriesthat's Laos and Cambodia that's thenumber of Adventists in the world todaywho are called to proclaim the sooncoming of JesusChrist that's if all the Adventists werein one country it would be Cambodia andLAall the Christians in the world you'dthrow in uh number of people in in Indiaor China so that would be the light blueand the purple there that's all theChristians in the world today but maybetwo-thirds of Christians I might sayChristians in name only or nominalChristians they they wear a cross aroundtheir neck um but their Bible isgathering just at home and they don'tknow there's an old or new testament andthey couldn't quote you single versethey don't go to church they don't havea prayer life but they keep they have across hanging from their rearview mirrorin the car more as a good luck Talismanthan for any otherreason and so even with those Christiansin the world let's say 1.8 billionpeople we've still got a long way to goto reach the unreached the people wholive within reach ofChristians that means people secularpeople living in Portland who have achurch on every corner and Christianradio and Christian internet and canfind a Bible in all of their hotel roomsif you map those out on the world interms of numbers of people who haveaccess to the gospel it's those yellowparts of the globethere and if you map the population theworld who has no access to the gospeltoday in terms of just numbers of peopleif you divide it look at it based oncountries that's the scale of the taskbeforeus it's quite a challenge isn'tit so we know that final events will berapid we read that in the book Last DayEvents we know that there is comingtotalitarianism and we saw it in thepandemic we're going to see it againwe're going to see once again a dominantnarrative that demonizes a certainminority and it doesn't matter whetheryou're black brown or white whetheryou're male or female whatever countryyou come from if you have a living faithin Jesus Christ you will be in thatdemonizedMinority and if you choose to stick tothe word of God as the rule of faith andguide of practice for your life um thenyou'll be in that demonizedMinority and this book even though manypeople leave it on their shelf and theynever read it this book has beenbanished and burnt and buried and bannedby more governments in human historythan almost any other thing in humanhistory why because it changes people'slives and it can change your life if youopen it and ask the holy spirit to guideyou and change you as you read it it'sthe most banished item in theworld people died that you might havethis in yourlanguage people died for us to have theright to read it in our own languagepeople are in prisoned today in placeslike China because they dare to bringthis book to people who' never yet readit we have this spiritual wealth in ourhomes I want to encourage you uh notjust to be you know as Adventists weused to call ourselves the people of thebook but sadly few and few Adventistsactually read their Bibles and theydon't know how to give a Bible study andthey wouldn't know how to teach a biblestudy on almost anything thesedays and Beyond being people of the bookI want to in challenges go further thanthat is to be the people of God becausethe Bible is God's love letter to youand I read the Bible not in order that Ican prove you WR in theological disputeI read the word of God in order that Imight hear the voice of the Creatorspeaking tome and as he speaks to me he shapes meand when I finish my reading of the wordof God I'm a different man to the onewho sat down to read it in the firstplace I'm reading this so God can changeme and can change you this book has beenbanned and burnt and banished and buriedand all kinds I can't think of any otherthe verbs beginning with be but you knowwhat I mean if you can think of any letmeknow and I believe you know even in thisworld today you know we we have anoffice in South Korea and in North Koreathe teachers have a game they say to thechildren we're going to have a game ofhide and seek and you're going to gohome and if you can find a little bookthat looks like this don't tell yourparents you're looking for it if you canfind a book that looks like that comeand tell the teacher and when thechildren tell the teacher that I foundthis book at home the parents areprobably taken off to the councconcentration camps or executed becausethey're looking for Bibles and they'remobilizing children against theirparents this is a precious preciousthing the Living Word of God why becausethis is the written word of God but itpoke points us to The Living Word of Godthat is JesusChrist so don't have this bound up athome open it prayerfully start readingit and if you're not sure where to startstart with the gospels the story of oursavior so that's the 10 that's the 1040Mission window rightthere I've spoken about dreams of Isabefore but what we're seeing inAFM is that Jesus Christ is appearing topeople in dreams and Visions around theworld and calling to them to followhim there are more Muslim baptisms inthe last 23 years it's year 2000 then inthe 1400 years before that and Jesus isappearing to people behind the veil ofIslam and inviting them to follow himand people are following Jesus likenever before even like 5 years ago Islamwas like the growing dominant religionin the world Islam is now fragmenting asfast as you can imagine for a variety ofreasons one of which is what Muhammadbin Salon the Crown Prince of SaudiArabia is doing one of which is thedreams of Isa another is because theynow have 2 6 or 27 copies of the Quranout there nobody knows which is the realQuran so everybody's fighting with eachother there's a whole variety of reasonsfor this but the bottom line is thisJesus is going before his churchinviting people behind the veil of Islamto follow him and those people arelooking for someone to lead them intothe kingdom of God they're looking for aliving human being they can trust andMuslim women only want to talk to aChristian woman they can never they'llnever speak to me but if you're a ladyand you want to do something in missionservice be a missionary among Muslimwomenyou will find many Muslim women areyearning to meet a Christian woman whotakes her faith seriously and who willlead them to the Savior it's a globalphenomenon it's starting to happen amongHindus and among B Buddhists we see thisin the mission field the dreams andvisions of Jesus inviting people tofollow him so we're going to come to astage in the west where I believe thatthe social polarization will be soextreme that unless you're preachingessentially a woke gospel you're goingto be closed down and this guy here inthe Australian Union Sven ustring heproduced these three books littlehandbooks on church planting and churchmultiplication and launching a housechurch planting movement you can findthese online at the Australian Unionwebsite I encourage you to look forthese and download them because um he'stalking about what it means to plantchurches where it's where the the groundis hostile where the government ishostile to you and this is where we'reprobably going to go as Christians thisset set of books here is very powerfulit's written by um Eric Foley from voiceof the martyrs the first one is calledpreparing for the underground churchit's based on the experience of thechurch in North Korea there the book onthe left that's written by V brandRichard V brand actually the middle bookis written by Eric Foley planting theunderground church that's in places ofextreme persecution and the third is howto live in the underground church andthat's where we're going to be as achurch before Jesus comesagain I don't believe before Jesus comesagain we're going to be sitting in bigbuildings like this with 501c3 statusand fully employed pastors and payingwith a conference paying their salariesand fer and so forth it's not going tobe likethat when the mark of the beast isimposed means those who are faithful toGod can neither buy nor sell that meansthe no conference if it's true to Godcan employee pastors or have access to abank account we will be an undergroundChurchand part of our responsibility aspastors is not just to try and preservethe past that's what many of ouradministrators are doing as hard as theycan they're doing their best to preservethe past part of our responsibility aspasts is to say this is what's coming inthe future let's prepare our members forwhat's coming down thepike so I want to encourage you all tostart thinking about what it means torun underground housechurches that doesn't mean you stopcoming to church you still gathertogether for as long as we can as longas it's legal but there is going to comea day when that is no longer legallypossible and we need to know how tofunction how to lead to discover Biblestudy how to lead someone to JesusChrist how to lead a home BibleFellowship within our own homes with ourownneighbors and only the Adventists inOregon can do it for the neighborhoodsof Oregon of Portland Oregon and onlythe Adventist of Ghana can do can do itfor for the communities of Ghana thatmeans there is space for everybody inthe fin crisis to shine for JesusChrist so I want to encourage you to beactive in your church where you are nowuse the blessings that we have today wehave legal structures we have churchbuildings we have youth Halls we havecamp meetings these are all blessingstoday if they edify the body of Christbut also be thinking about what how youcan prepare for what we know is comingUpon OurWorld I can only do it in myneighborhood but you can do it in yourneighborhoodthis is what it means to be the salt ofthe earth the light of the world so inconclusion based on all things we sharedtonight and it's oh it's quarters n9ineI've rabbited on for a long time haven'tI my apologies so position your life sothe corrupt powers of this world have asfew pressure points on you aspossible think back to the last threeyears what pressure points did youremployer or government have upon you andhow can you eliminate those presspressure points so you can liveaccording to your conscience as anautonomous humanbeing think hard if you're a youngperson think carefully about what careeryou want to pursue it used to be that acareer in Corporate America was held outas the great thing to do but if you gointo Corporate America you will facemandates of one kind or another in thefuture that will contradict yourconscience we used to say to people ifthey're going to join the US militarythere are two problems with joining themilitary from A's perspectiveone is Sabbath observance and the secondis you hand control of your conferenceto a SE conscience to a seculargovernment that's the problem if you'reinstructed to kill you have to killyou're instructed to torture you have totorture so you hand control of yourconscience to a secular government andwhat's happened with our corporations inAmerica that they are no longer moralactors if they if they ever were andthey're all too willing to implement andenforce the dominant narrative so ifyou're thinking of a career as a youngperson think of something where you canbe of service to other people think ofsomething where you can be self-employedwith a practical and necessary skillthat does not require you to work for abig Corporation but allows you toprovide for your own surv economicsurvival but you cannot be forced bylarge corporations do things you don'twant to do carpentry Electric electricalwork Contracting goodexamples think carefully aboutthis prepare yourselves spirituallyfinancially andemotionally it's hard to see the changestaking place in our nation is itnot okay when we realize that this worldis not our home sooner or later we haveto get off the bandwagon that is Americaand its history and we have to standtall for the kingdom of God above allotherkingdoms I know it's sometimes hard tosay that but it istrue so we need to prepare ourselvesspiritually for what we know is comingahead that may involve scripturememorization learning how to give aBible study learning testing truths fromscripture where they're found inscripture preparing ourselvesfinancially such as getting out of debtand preparing ourselvesemotionally invest in gospel work whileyou have the freedom to doso there will come a time when bookslike great controversy will be bannedfor being considered hate speech it'sonly a matter of time so invest yourresources while you can in gospel workwhen we get CBDCS okay your economic freedom is goneyou can then spend on what thegovernment says you're allowed to spendon right now you can spend on prettymuch whatever you want to spend on souse your economic assets and yourdollars before they're worthless ongospel work in your local congregationin your community and around the worldbut invest in gospel work buildrelationships of absolute trust withyour local brothers and sisters becausewhen push comes to shove um as we saw inthe pandemic didn't matter that we had ageneral conference in North AmericanDivision and a um Pacific or NorthPacific Union and an Oregon conferencenone of that meant didly squat in thepandemic What mattered was whether youtrusted your brothers and sisterslocally and that's what's going tomatter again in the finalConflict when Satan hits the Sheep theflock the flock willscatter so start to learn to love topray with to pray for and to trust thoseon the pews next toyou because when you have to risk if youhave someone in your house and thegovernment wants that person you'regoing to choose them I'm going to handthem in or am I going to give him asanctuary like Anne Frank and her familywhen I was in Tajikistan many years agothere was a civil war between jihadisand Communists I was a young man therewas Civil War there was ethnic cleansingit was the early 90s and there was aJihadi group looking for westers andthey were looking for me to kill me sothere was an old man in the church who'sdead now he lived in a one room Sovietapartment and he took me into hisapartment for almost 3months and he kept me in a in the backroom with the windows drawn for threemonths and I call my radio my staff on ashort wave radio everyday and the the jihadis came to office anumber of times trying to find theWesterner nobody knew where I was livingbut there was this one dear old brotherwho took me under his wings and said I'mgoing to give you safe Sanctuary whilethe jihadis are looking foryou that's the kind of trust we need tobuild with our brothers and sistersand you build that trust by having smallgroups and prayer meetings and beingvulnerable about what's going on in yourlife and trusting people with what'shappening so they can pray for you andyou can pray for them build authentictrust among brothers and sisters becauseone day that's going to be the onlymanifestation of the body of Christ thatyou can rely on and choose Hope andFaith everymorning funny I should say this at theend of the presentation yes you'reprobably all really depressed and goingto go home tonight and say why would Icome back tomorrow tomorrow we talkabout much more positive topics but umchoose Hope and Faith every morning whybecause when we see these thingshappening and we see men's Heartsfailing them for fear we can lift ourheads High because we know that ourRedemption is drawingnine we know that the world is going togo through a final crisis we know thatthe worst desires for power andoppression and cruelty will be visitedupon those who are most faithful to Godat the end of time we know these thingsbut we also know the end of the storyand the end of the story is that Jesusis coming again and when he comes againevery tear will be wiped away and theprize we're looking for is not a bighouse here in Portland Oregon the prizewe're looking for is a Heavenly homewhere the streets are made of gold andthe gates are made of Pearl and we havethe gift of eternal life that's theprize and that prize is worth fightingfor and that pray prize is worth workingfor so as many of our neighbors aspossible from whatever background theymay be they may have today as many ofour neighbors can be in that gloriousNew Jerusalem in Heaven above so chooseHope and Faith every morning when men'shearts are failing them for fear we areto be people of Hope the I think it'sZachariah or Zephaniah I forget whichone Now talks about being prisoners ofhope we can be prisoners ofhope that we are captured by the Blessedhope and that blessed hope is is thatChrist within me and also the promisethat he's coming again for his own so myprayer for you and I for each one of ushere tonight and for those of youwatching online my prayer for each oneof us is that despite what is happeningin this world each one of us will beprisoners of Hope and we will carry theBlessed hope in our hearts and whenJesus comes again we can say this is oursavior whom we have waited for let's bowour heads and we'll close with a word ofprayer heavenlyfather I thank you that that Jesus iscoming again soonand father what we've been preaching asAdventists for the last 120 years andpeople said oh that would never happenfather we see the pieces of the jigsawpuzzle being put together in front ofour very eyes in2023 father we see the yearning the lustafter absolute power over the citizensof this planet we see the desire on theactors of Revelation 13 to control andmandate and exclude and dominate everyhuman being on planetEarth but father we know that you'vejudged Jud those powers and you foundthem wanting and that we live though welive today under their Authority we alsolive in the Kingdom of Grace and one daythat Kingdom will arrive at Planet Earthand will be a kingdom of glory and everyEarthly Kingdom and power will be wipedaway and we will dwell with you and youwill dwell with us so until that dayfather may we be may we be foundfaithful to you in whichever portion ofthe Lord's Vineyard you've called andplaced us to serve may your spiritEmpower us may your angel guard andprotect us may the love of Jesus be seenin our eyes and heard in our voices andmay we in truth be prisoners of Hopewhen the hearts of humanity are failingthem for fear for what is coming uponthis world we ask this Mercy in jesus'name amen
