Sermon Outline: “The Great Reset”
Text: Genesis 41, Revelation 18, John 3:3–5
1. The First Great Reset: Joseph’s Economic Reset in Egypt
-
Key Passage: Genesis 41:25–36 (Joseph interprets Pharaoh’s dream).
-
“Seven years of great abundance are coming… but seven years of famine will follow.” (v. 29–30).
-
-
The Reset:
-
Phase 1: Egyptians surrender money for food (Genesis 47:13–14).
-
Phase 2: They trade livestock (Genesis 47:15–17).
-
Phase 3: They sell land and themselves into slavery (Genesis 47:18–21).
-
Result: “You will own nothing, and you will be happy”—a precursor to modern economic enslavement.
-
-
Survival Strategy:
-
Jacob’s family avoided Egypt’s system, relying on self-sufficiency (Genesis 26:1–6).
-
2. The Second Great Reset: Today’s Global Economic Collapse
-
Key Issues:
-
Debt Doom Loop: U.S. national debt ($37T+) and inflation eroding savings.
-
Digital Enslavement: Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) will control spending (Revelation 13:17).
-
“No one could buy or sell without the mark.”
-
-
Gold vs. Illusion: Governments hoard gold; citizens face devaluation (Proverbs 23:5).
-
-
Survival Strategy:
-
Store real wealth (gold, silver, self-sufficiency) and reject dependency on systems.
-
3. The Final Reset: Spiritual Rebirth
-
Key Passage: John 3:3–5
-
“Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
-
-
Steps to Revival:
-
Ask for the Spirit (Luke 11:13): “How much more will the Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask?”
-
Seek God’s Will (John 8:29): Live to please Him daily.
-
Saturate in Scripture (Psalm 119:25): “Revive me according to Your word.”
-
Unite in Mission (Acts 2:1): The Spirit falls on those united for the lost.
-
Witness Boldly (Acts 1:8): “You will receive power… and be My witnesses.”
-
-
Promise: The latter rain (Joel 2:28) will precede Christ’s return.
Conclusion: Choose Your Reset
-
Worldly Resets: Lead to slavery.

God’s Reset: Leads to eternal life.
-
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard… what God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9).

Share truth like the leaves of autumn—freely and urgently.
-
