So, I bring greetings uh from uh my wife who’s back in Berian Springs today and
0:05
our daughter uh our son is with us right now. He’s doing my recordings back
0:11
there. And I’d like to thank brother John Records and all the team that put this incredible weekend together. You’ve
0:17
done a what an amazing job and I just just rejoice to see so many like-minded people gathering on the Sabbath day um
0:24
to share in fellowship and to grow in grace and in truth. So um last night or
0:30
yesterday we spoke um two sermons. Um they were more looking at the times in which we live and what is happening out
0:36
there. And today I’m going to talk about things that are within our church. Matters of should be of concern to all
0:41
of us. Uh matters that actually have a profound impact on us whether we recognize it or not. And so uh this
0:48
morning I’ll be sharing a message entitled buyer beware number one. And this evening buyer beware number two.
0:53
I’m not very creative on my sermon titles. So, buy beware one and then buy a beware two uh later this evening. Uh
1:01
you know uh we are approaching the the most momentous times in human history.
1:08
And um it’s really important that we we beat to quarters and we jettison any
1:13
junk that’s going to stop us from fulfilling our god-given mission. And uh uh we’ve seen in the last five
1:19
years that there are many gods in this world and those gods have a hold over us. And when mandates are imposed,
1:26
people yield on their conscience to whatever pressure points the government has upon us. And so I think it’s
1:33
incumbent upon us to reflect on these last five years and to look forward and to make sure that there’s nothing coming
1:39
between us and our heavenly father um so that when the next pressure points are brought upon and God’s people um there
1:45
are no pressure points where they compress and we can stand tall regardless of what the world does to us.
1:51
So um today I’m going to speak about the relationship with the United Nations and
1:57
uh I think that many of you would agree that CO was a wakeup call for many people. Um CO um opened our eyes in many
2:05
ways. It’s opened many people’s eyes and what I’m going to share today has really
2:10
come about as a result of what happened uh during the pandemic and the opening of many people’s eyes. So, as we begin,
2:16
I’d invite you to bow your heads with me and we’ll invite the presence of the Holy Spirit. Our dear heavenly father, I
2:23
thank you for the blessings of the Sabbath day. Lord, we thank you for the friendship, the fellowship, the
2:29
physical, and the spiritual food you’ve blessed us with thus far yesterday and so far this morning. Lord, I ask that
2:36
your Holy Spirit will continue to speak to us. That your Holy Spirit will bring conviction to our hearts. that we will
2:42
not just um um receive messages but you will change our thinking and direct our paths in new paths of righteousness from
2:49
this day forward. So Lord I ask that you speak through me and for me and may Jesus be glorified and may his body uh
2:56
be able to stand taller and truer because of the preaching of this word. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
3:03
All right. So uh this is our journey this morning and um I’m going to talk
3:09
about the UN structure, the UN problem, the UN and the spirit of prophecy and then the UN some UN questions before we
3:15
come to our conclusions. And so uh that’s our journey this morning and
3:20
there’s the UN building there in New York. Has any of you ever been to the UN plaza there and looked around? Yes. many
3:27
tourists they go to New York and one of the things people like to see um is the
3:32
the United Nations Plaza there. Um but uh back in uh on the 6th of June 1985
3:39
um this article was published and here’s a copy of it here. It was the Adventist
3:44
Review on June the 6th 1985 and you have Sister Ellen White on the front there.
3:50
And um inside it it was very short edition. Um they had a couple of items
3:55
of news, but this news item here, it just said the GC receives NGO status
4:00
from the UN and it was it was a short news item um that you see there on the
4:05
screen. And what did that news item actually say? Um this was given uh to
4:11
the delegates of the general conference session in 1985. And this is on the screen. Um the text it said the GC
4:19
receives NGO status from the United Nations. On May 10, the United Nations
4:24
recognize the General Conference of 7th Adventists as a non-governmental organization NGO having consultative
4:32
status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, the ECOS.
4:38
In much the same way that the United Nations Security Council looks after matters of war and peace, ECOS deals
4:44
with worldwide social, economic, humanitarian, and cultural questions,
4:49
including human rights and religious liberty. The general conference now has the right to be represented at all ECOS
4:56
meetings in New York and human rights commission’s meetings in Geneva, Switzerland. The NGO status includes the
5:02
right to speak and submit written statements regarding issues of importance to the church. We believe the
5:09
new NGO status will help the 7th Adventist Church establish a presence in another forum and thus enhance its
5:16
positive Christian outreach. End quote. And that was what was announced to the delegates at the 1985 general conference
5:24
session that we have now achieved consultative NGO status with the United
5:29
Nations ECOS or economic and and and um social council of the United Nations.
5:36
Now as it happens um the ECOS had passed certain resolutions and uh one of those
5:42
which is pertinent to this morning says there that regarding um consultative status nos it says the aims and purposes
5:50
of the organization shall be in conformity with the spirit purposes and principles of the charter of the United
5:57
Nations. So when you apply for and you receive consultative NGO status with the United
6:05
Nations, you’re signing up to the principles and values of the United Nations as a as a supporting an
6:12
nonprofit non-governmental organization at the United Nations. And that ECOS
6:17
resolution was passed in 1968 and it was reaffirmed in 1996.
6:23
So before we joined the UN and after we made an alliance with the UN, the UN
6:29
ECOS had passed resolutions saying if you’re going to be have a status with us, consultative status, you must be in
6:35
alignment with our goals and visions and purposes. Now we note here in passing that this
6:43
was never decided by the executive committee of the general conference to align with the United Nations. It was
6:50
never voted by the members of the Adventist church in a general conference session to align with the United
6:55
Nations. In fact, uh the decision to join and the actual joining took place just before the 1985 general conference
7:03
session. The members were informed that this is what the administration has done, but the members were not given the
7:09
chance to debate or vote on the matter. You kind of think that if we’re going to join up with the United Nations and
7:16
officially submit ourselves to their goals and their principles and their values that the the Wilson um the
7:24
earlier Wilson senior administration you would think that for such a momentous decision they could have waited a few
7:30
weeks and given it to the delegates to vote on but they didn’t. The decision was made.
7:35
The alliance was signed up for and over time ADRA now has been granted
7:40
consultative NGO status and the IRLA the international religious liberty
7:46
association they have also been granted consultative NGO status by the United
7:51
Nations. So let’s just ask ourselves like what exactly does the United Nations do? uh when I used to work for
7:58
ADRA in many parts of the world in the uh 90s um the United Nations um they
8:03
were big donors for all kinds of aid agencies but the United Nations were kind of an in private they were a by
8:09
word for corruption and nepotism and inefficiency and that was those were the friends of
8:15
the UN speaking and so there’s the UN plaza there so
8:22
let’s talk about the four pillars of the United Nations the the the preamble to The UN charter lists four pillars of the
8:29
United Nations. The first of these is peace and security. Now, according to the UN charter, the UN was created, I’m
8:35
quoting here, to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war, which twice in our lifetime has brought
8:42
untold sorrow to mankind. End quote. And so, the United Nations was formed after
8:48
the tragedies of World War I and World War II to try and ensure that there would not be another World War. and they
8:55
wanted to put bring an end to war. The League of Nations had failed and so now
9:00
there was an attempt to unite the nations of the world and peace and security was their number one objective.
9:07
The second pillar of the United Nations was to stand up for human rights. Uh the UN charter begins by affirming I’m
9:14
quoting here faith in fundamental rights in the dignity and worth of the human person in the equal rights of men and
9:21
women and of nations large and small. And so um the second pillar of the United Nations is to establish, define
9:28
and uphold human rights around the world. And the third pill pill pillar of
9:33
the United Nations is to establish the rule of law on a global basis. Um that
9:39
uh we are ruled by law as a global as a global community rather than by the the
9:44
word of dictators. And so in again in the preamble it says this. The UN aims to quote establish conditions under
9:51
which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can
9:58
be combined end quote. And so in the 1930s uh we witnessed the rise of strong men
10:04
such as Mussolini and Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin. And the United Nations wanted to turn the world back so that
10:11
international relations between nations are governed not by strong men but by
10:16
the rule of law. And I mean these are all lordable aims. I have no problem with with these aims as they are stated.
10:22
They’re noble noble objectives here. And the fourth pillar of the United Nations related to human development. And uh
10:29
they argue that the main components of development are living a long and healthy life, receiving a good
10:35
education, having a decent standard of living and having the freedom to participate in the life of your own
10:41
community. So those are the four pillars of the United Nations. Peace and security, human rights, the rule of law
10:49
and development. And uh so then you have the main organs of the United Nations.
10:54
And the United Nations actually has six main organs in its structure or in its organizational chart. The first one
11:00
which we’re probably most familiar with is the general assembly. And this is where um presidents and prime ministers
11:07
come and speak to the representatives of the world in that massive hall there in downtown New York. And this is the main
11:14
deliberative and representative body of the United Nations. And all the member states of the UN are represented in the
11:21
general assembly. You also have um the security council. You’ve heard of the UN
11:27
Security Council. This is a subset of the uh General Assembly. It has 15
11:32
members uh five of whom are permanent. That is the US, China, the UK, France,
11:38
and the Russian Federation. These were basically the victors of World War II.
11:44
And when the United Nations was put together, they said that we’re going to have the permanent role on the Security
11:50
Council. and then the other 10 members rotate around on a regular basis from the other member states and this is
11:57
causing a lot of tension to today because the world has moved on from 1945 and there are other powers such as India
12:04
that have arisen and say why aren’t we permanent members of the UN security council and so the even though it
12:10
represented the world in 1945 the world has moved on and there is always
12:15
pressure to expand or um the permanent members of the security council and the Security Council um they deal with um
12:23
upholding international law. They deals with matters of conflict, the outbreak of war and they’re looking to maintain
12:30
international peace and security. And so then you have the economic and social
12:35
council for which the general conference is a consultative NGO status holder and
12:40
the princ this is the principal body in the United Nations for the coordination of global um affairs and governments
12:47
around the world on environmental economic and social issues and the implementation of the development goals
12:54
of the United Nations. And then you have the trusteeship council. This is
13:00
something that few people are aware of. But the role of the trusteeship council um is to provide international
13:06
supervision for 11 trust territories which have been placed under the admin administration of seven member states
13:12
and that the trusteeship council’s job is to nurture those 11 trustee areas to
13:18
the place when they can become full member states of the UN and sovereign states in and of their own rights. Then
13:24
you have the international court of justice that is based in the Netherlands at a place called the Hague and that is
13:30
where um for instance in Bosnia um after the the war in in in Balkans in the
13:36
1990s and that is where some of the uh the alleged war criminals were taken and they were put on trial and some of them
13:43
were convicted for crimes against humanity after the Balkans war. And so the International Court of Justice is
13:49
based in the Hague in the Netherlands. And then sixly you have the secretariat. This comprises the secretary general and
13:56
tens of thousands of UN workers who carry out um the implementation of the UN priorities. And then you also have um
14:05
the human rights function within the United Nations. So within the human rights um um uh uh pyramid in the UN
14:11
structure uh first of all you have the UN high commissioner for human rights and they have the overall responsibility
14:19
um for the protection of human rights on a global level. Then you have the human rights council that was established in
14:25
2006 and this is the key um intergovernmental body at the United Nations responsible for upholding human
14:33
rights around the world. Then you have human rights treaties bodies. These are committees of independent experts that
14:40
monitor the implementation of core human rights treaties around the world. Then
14:45
you have what are known as the special procedures. These are independent experts who present thematic or country
14:52
specific reports to the security council and the human rights council um from country specific basis. So for instance,
15:00
if the UN believes there’s a genocide in this certain country, they may may have
15:05
somebody appointed from this role to give a special report to the UN on what is happening when it comes to genocide
15:11
in a certain part of the world. And then you have this is a very catchy phrase, isn’t it? The UN development group’s
15:17
human re human rights mainstreaming mechanism. um this advances this serves to advance
15:24
human rights within the overall um sphere of all the UN UN programming around the world. And then maybe most
15:30
interestingly to me you have the special advisers on the prevention of genocide and the full title is and the the
15:37
responsibility to protect and the special adviser they are a catalyst.
15:42
Their role is to raise awareness of the causes and the dynamics of genocide. It is to alert relevant actors to the
15:48
threat of genocide and it is to advocate for appropriate action to be taken and
15:55
sometimes they’re successful in this goal and sometimes they’re picking up the pieces after the genocide has been
16:01
taken place. Uh so they have a they have a mixed report card you might say. Um
16:06
and at the very core of the United Nations human rights um world is the
16:12
universal declaration of human rights. Now, we mentioned this briefly yesterday. It was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris
16:20
on December the 10th in 1948, and it sets out for the first time in human
16:25
history fundamental human rights to be respected all around the world. And it
16:31
is recognized and adopted in more than six 70 human rights treaties around the
16:36
world today. So, that’s just a brief introduction to the UN. The UN actually has it has a variety of organizations
16:44
affiliated with it. Some organizations of the UN are actually created by
16:49
bilateral treaty among governments such as UNICEF or the world food program and
16:54
others are called officers. So there’s the is the UNCHER the United Nations
17:00
office for the coordination of humanitarian affairs and whenever there is a humanitarian crisis um UNICEF
17:07
rushes in because they want to protect the children and World Food Program rushes in because they want to provide food to the children and UNHCR rushes in
17:14
the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees because they want to protect the child because it’s a refugee and you
17:20
end up with three global agencies fighting over who gets to take care of that child. And that’s important because
17:26
whoever gets jurisdiction over that child gets funding. And so they they these these major agencies which like
17:32
major kingdoms in their own right um they they are then required to to coordinate through UN OCH UN office of
17:40
coordination of humanitarian affairs and you get constant turf battles going on around the world. Is this child a child?
17:47
Is this child a refugee? Is this child hungry? Should the UN population fund get involved in ministering to this
17:53
child? um becau and because it comes from a family and so forth. And so you get these jurisdictional battles going
17:59
on because with jurisdiction comes global funding. And so um the UN has the
18:05
the these competing agencies out there that are always doing fundraising and
18:11
looking for donors and dollars and the best way to find dollars and donors is
18:16
to have victims that you’re claiming to be ministering to. So the United the universal declaration
18:24
of human rights is the core of the UN human rights um
18:29
um sector. So what is part of the UN problem and I covered some of this yesterday. The preamble there’s a
18:35
preamble to the universal declaration of human rights. I don’t expect you to read that from the back. I understand um
18:41
unless you’ve got you know the eyes of eagles but um the UN declaration of human rights starts with the preamble
18:48
that recognizes that equal the equal and inalienable rights of all human beings
18:54
are the foundation for freedom justice and peace in the world and there it is
18:59
it’s written the very first sentence whereas recognition of the inherent dignity of the equal and inalienable
19:05
rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom justice and peace in the world. And we
19:12
say, well, praise the Lord for that. The challenge is after this one mention of inalienable rights, the UN charter and
19:19
universal declaration of human rights switches to human rights. And as we said yesterday, there is a profound
19:25
difference between human rights and inalienable rights. Inalienable rights are yours by virtue of creation by a
19:32
loving creator in a moral universe. And so for in our constitution the
19:37
declaration of independence, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are given you by our create given us by our
19:43
creator regardless of which government we happen to live under. Whereas human rights are given us by governments in
19:49
legal codes and they can be given by governments and they can be taken away by governments. They’re not inalienable.
19:56
They they appear in good times and they disappear in bad times. So um some of these articles we actually agree with as
20:03
Adventists. uh such as article one on the screen there. It says, “All human beings are born free and equal in
20:10
dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of
20:18
brotherhood.” I’d say amen to that, wouldn’t you? I got no problem with that. And then in
20:24
in the Adventist um world, we particularly celebrate in the official statements from the general conference
20:31
this article here, article 18, which says, “Everyone has the right to freedom
20:36
of thought, conscience, and religion. This right includes freedom to change his religion or belief and freedom
20:43
either alone or in community with others and in public or private to manifest his religion or belief in teaching,
20:50
practice, worship and observance. That’s a pretty good article, wouldn’t you agree? And we actually mention this
20:58
article in our official statements from the general conference. We celebrate this article. We uphold this article. We
21:04
stand by this article and so forth. The challenge is is that when people say we
21:10
support the universal declaration of human rights and then they give you these examples, people say well that’s a
21:16
good thing. The problem is when you come to the end of the universal declaration of human rights, you come to article
21:22
29.2 as a church we celebrate in our statements article 18 of the universal
21:28
declaration of human rights. um because it upholds the right freedom of thought, freedom of conscience and freedom of
21:35
religion and it also includes freedom of the right to change your religion or belief. Now implied within that is the
21:42
freedom to evangelize and to share the gospel to invite people to follow Jesus
21:47
Christ. So the freedom of evangelism and proletism isn’t explicitly included but
21:53
the freedom to change your religion is included within the UN declaration on human rights. And there are some parts
21:59
of the world today where this freedom um is partially respected but not completely respected. In the Middle East
22:05
there is a country that says um on your national ID card you can you can either be Muslim or
22:12
Christian or atheist. And if you want to change your religion you can change from
22:18
Christian to Muslim or atheist to Muslim. But if you want to go from um Muslim you can only go to atheist. You
22:24
can’t go to Christian. And so in that particular country many people are registering as atheist and in the
22:31
statistics there’s a rapid growth of atheism in that country but it’s not really a growth of atheism at all is
22:37
because the law won’t allow them to make the full change across on their identity cards. So we we support article 18 of
22:44
the declaration of human rights. The problem is articles 29.2 and 29.3 state
22:50
this. It says, “In the exercise of his rights and freedoms, everyone shall be
22:56
subject only to such limitations as are determined by law solely for the purpose
23:01
of securing due recognition and respect for the rights and freedoms of others and of meeting the just requirements of
23:08
morality, public order, and the general welfare in a democratic society.
23:15
Which means that all the rights enunciated in the article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1
23:21
through 28, they are not absolute rights. They are subject to what the government or the UN determines is in
23:28
the general welfare of society. Article 29.3 says this, “These rights and
23:34
freedoms may no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles
23:39
of the United Nations.” So in plain English,
23:44
when you interpret this legal ease, we’re only allowed to ex exercise our
23:50
rights subject to the dictates of governments, intergovernmental organizations such as the World Health
23:57
Organization, and other UN or globalist stakeholders. Inalienable rights are
24:02
gone. What the UN calls rights are not rights at all. They’re merely temporary
24:08
permissions that can be revoked at any moment should what we as individuals do conflict with what the new glo globalist
24:15
governance regime calls the general welfare in a democratic society or with
24:20
the UN’s own purposes and principles and we saw a classic example of this in co
24:26
19 in our general conference working in policy manual many of you very familiar with this text here um the the pH
24:32
department public affairs and rel religious liberty um in the preamble layer describes what is the purpose of
24:39
the public affairs and religious liberty department um at the general conference and by extension to every division,
24:45
union and conference around the world. And um it says there that public affairs and religious liberty, one of the
24:52
original core departments of the church was initially established to promote to
24:57
maintain religious liberty with particular emphasis upon the most intimate freedom, individual liberty of
25:04
conscience. End quote. And I say praise the Lord that we take a stand at least in the working policy for individual
25:10
liberty of conscience. And what is individual liberty of conscience? It is the ability to act in harmony with the
25:17
convictions of the Holy Spirit upon your conscience. That is what liberty of conscience
25:22
means. It’s not you telling the Holy Spirit what the Holy Spirit is going to convict you of. It’s your ability to be
25:28
obedient to the convictions of the Holy Spirit. And uh some people say and we’ve
25:35
heard this over the last 5 years because the Bible says nothing about vaccines and the Bible says nothing. Spirit of
25:41
prophecy says almost nothing about vaccines. Therefore the Holy Spirit cannot bring you conviction on vaccines
25:47
because the Bible and spirit of prophecy say nothing. Therefore this is not a religious liberty issue. That’s an
25:52
argument we heard in our church. Well, if you turn in your Bibles to Acts chapter 16 and verse 6. Acts chapter 16
26:02
and verse 6. And there’s a fascinating little verse there. It’s a verse we kind of glance over because it doesn’t
26:09
contain it initial reading any profound theology,
26:14
but it’s an interesting little verse there. And I just want us to uh think about it for a minute.
26:22
It says there, this is talking about Paul on his second missionary journey. It says they went through the region of
26:28
Friia and Galatia having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. Some versions say the spirits of
26:35
Jesus. Now, let me ask you this. Does the Bible
26:40
anywhere other than this verse here say that the apostles should not be doing missionary work in northern Turkey?
26:48
No. There’s nothing in the Bible that says you should not be doing missionary work
26:53
in northern Turkey. Yet here, the Holy Spirit brings conviction on the apostles
26:58
not to do something that is nowhere mentioned anywhere else in scripture.
27:03
What does that tell us? It tells us that the Holy Spirit can bring conviction upon your conscience on a matter on
27:09
which scripture is silent, but it is still the legitimate conviction of the Holy Spirit upon your conscience. Amen.
27:16
So the the arguments that because the Bible is silent on vaccinations, therefore this cannot be a religious
27:22
liberty issue would mean that this passage here is a lie because this passage says the Holy Spirit brought
27:28
conviction on the apostles not to go into Bethnia, but there’s nothing on scripture on that topic at all anyway.
27:35
So if the scripture is silent on not going to Bethnia, this kind the argument if it’s to be consistent, um therefore
27:41
Paul should say that wasn’t the Holy Spirit convicting us there. So the point about this is when you hear
27:47
the argument if the scripture is silent on something the Holy Spirit cannot bring conviction on you on that matter.
27:54
Therefore um this is not a matter of religious liberty. You can’t base that on on principle on
28:00
scripture because I’ve just shown you just one verse there where the Holy Spirit can bring you a conviction on a
28:06
matter that is entirely is not covered anywhere in the word of God. You follow the logic on this?
28:12
So therefore, the decision to or not take vaccines is is is still a religious
28:18
liberty matter regardless of whether the Bible says anything about vaccines in particular. And it doesn’t um in in a
28:24
specific way because that doesn’t stop the Holy Spirit bringing conviction upon the heart and conscience of the
28:29
disciple. So liberty of conscience is celebrated
28:35
and upheld in our GC working policy manual. But in our reaffirmation statement and I
28:41
always I always highlight this sentence here. Therefore, claims of religious liberty.
28:48
We’ll highlight the two bits in red here for the purposes of this morning. The statement says um you know the statement
28:55
that the the reaffirmation statement is is about two and a half pages long. Have you ever read it?
29:02
So in England um every legal decision every if if the judge gives a legal
29:08
decision and the the decision is a 100 pages long. Okay, you do get those things and there
29:15
is always one sentence in that 100page decision that’s the fulcrum of the whole case. There’s one sentence that defines
29:22
the decision. Everything else and that’s what sets the precedent for future decisions. Everything else is what the
29:29
lawyers called obbita, which is Latin. It means other words. It’s surrounding
29:34
fluff. It’s expensive fluff, but it’s fluff.
29:41
And in the reaffirmation statement, there was two pages of fluff designed to lull us asleep.
29:48
They say nice words about liberty of conscience. They say nice words that vaccination is a matter of private
29:53
conscience. But there’s one paragraph that’s the fulcrum for the whole statement and this is it here and it’s
29:59
buried near the bottom of the second page says the 7th Adventist church it’s on the screen in consultation with the
30:05
health ministries public affairs and religious liberty departments of the general conference of 7th Adventists is
30:11
convinced that the vaccination programs that are generally carried out are important for the safety and health of
30:17
our members and the larger community. Does that sound like the general welfare of society?
30:24
That’s another way of putting it. Therefore, claims of religious liberty are not used appropriately in objecting
30:30
to government mandates or employer programs. Then you have the same phrase again. They just reverse the wording
30:35
designed to protect the health and safety of their communities. So the denial of liberty of conscience by the
30:41
general conference is sandwiched between two sentences talking about the health
30:47
and safety of the wider community. That’s the wider good, the general good, the
30:53
general welfare of society is the is the the the um the delivery mechanism for
30:59
the the general conference presumption of its right to override the convictions of the Holy Spirit on your conscience.
31:07
With this statement, the GC leaders at the time made an official declaration to
31:12
every Adventist worldwide that their deeply held, prayerfully considered for convictions did not provide a valid
31:19
basis for religious exemption. Essentially, our leaders were stating that they had the authority to override
31:25
the convictions of the Holy Spirit upon the consciences of members worldwide if
31:30
in their determination the Holy Spirit was not acting in the general welfare of society.
31:36
A claim to such authority to override the Holy Spirit has no basis in
31:41
scripture whatsoever. Amen. in denying liberty of conscience to Adventists worldwide. However, the GC
31:48
was acting as legally required because of our consultative NGO status with the UN, which requires us to uphold the UN’s
31:56
objectives and goals, including the general welfare concept contained in article 29.2 of the UN declaration of
32:03
human rights. And we repeatedly mention our support for the UN declaration of human rights through our official
32:09
statements. In fact, we even mention issued a statement on the 50th anniversary urging all governments to
32:16
uphold all the principles of the universal declaration of human rights. There was a one of our statements actually called on governments to uphold
32:22
all these principles including the subjugation of individual liberty of conscience to what the UN determines is
32:28
in the general welfare of society. It’s unbelievable when you actually start reading through the details of this kind
32:34
of stuff. Before COVID or beyond COVID though, as Adventists, we all need to
32:40
know that if in some point in the future the UN or one of its agencies or institutions such as the WHO declares,
32:47
for instance, in the new pandemic preparedness treaty that was just signed earlier this year, that something is in
32:52
the general welfare of society. We need to know today that the GC will
32:58
always side with the UN because the GC has subjugated itself to the UN in a formal alliance. and the GC is thus only
33:06
ready and willing to to um deny liberty of conscience to Adventists worldwide as
33:11
they did in the last four years. In effect, we being told by the GC that
33:17
Adventists can act in harmony with their conscience only in so far as your actions are in harmony with whatever the
33:24
United Nations determines is in the general public interest, the common welfare or the common good. Put
33:31
differently, liberty of conscience is now dead within the official Adventist Church, and the GC will only support
33:38
members if their actions are in harmony with the determinations of the GC’s globalist monsters or what is in the
33:44
common good or the general welfare of society. We are not in an alliance with the United Nations. We are in submission
33:51
to the United Nations. And both members and liberty of conscience have been sacrificed on the altar of political
33:57
expediency by our leadership. But the problem doesn’t just end there because the papacy has permanent
34:05
observer status at the United Nations. There are 193 member states in the
34:10
United Nations. But there the United Nations was granted permanent observer status rather than
34:16
member status on April the 6th, 1964. And just a reminder of what the Bible
34:22
says about the papacy, I’ve given you three passages there. In Revelation 13:1,
34:28
we read in scripture that the power behind the papacy is Satan himself, who gives the papacy his power and authority
34:35
to deceive the world. In 2 Thessalonians 2 1-12, I did a sermon on this last year
34:40
in Maine called Dancing with the Devil on why the papacy is the antichrist of scripture. But in 2 Thessalonians 2
34:46
1-12, the papacy is the man of sin, a blasphemous power that declares itself
34:52
to be God, Antichrist itself. And in Daniel 7:1 19-26,
34:58
we know that the papacy is a persecuting power, arrogantly assuming the right to change the law of God, a reflection of
35:05
God’s character, and to coers false worship. It is also a persecuting and bloodthirsty power. Yet the papacy is a
35:13
power that will come to assure judgment and destruction from God himself. So the papacy is a condemned power by God as
35:21
the antichrist. Despite this, the papacy today has the right to attend all sessions of the general assembly, the
35:28
security council, and the ECOS to observe their work. The papacy today by
35:33
virtue of its permanent observer state is legally capable of ratifying international treaties and actively
35:40
participating in the negotiation of international lawmaking treaties at the UN. The papacy can make substantive
35:47
proposals, reject the proposals of other negotiating parties, request a vote, and
35:52
even vote directly. On October 24, just four weeks ago, the
36:00
new Pope Leo I 14th held a meeting with all the leading Jesuits around the world. He called them to Rome. This was
36:08
a matter of public record and he made a direct appeal to them on October 24 this
36:14
year to take the lead in fulfilling their mission at all levels of society
36:19
politically, culturally and spiritually. And this is what he said. um paraphrase this is words from his speech here. He
36:26
said, “Today I repeat, the church needs you at the frontiers, whether they be geographical, cultural, intellectual, or
36:34
spiritual. We must oppose the globalization of powerlessness with a culture of reconciliation,
36:40
meeting one one another in truth, forgiveness, and healing. The church must help guide these developments
36:46
ethically, defending common good, and promoting the what? The common good. True disciplehip
36:53
requires both denunciation of injustice and the proposal of new models rooted in
36:58
solidarity and the common good. Caring for our common home responds to a cry
37:04
that is both human and divine. May the Lord lead you to the frontiers of today and beyond. Renewing the church and
37:10
building a kingdom of justice, love, and truth. What kingdom is the pope
37:16
referring to here? He’s speaking about the the the reign of Rome or papal
37:21
supremacy around the world. The phrase our common home goes back to La Lauato C
37:27
that infamous cycl encyclical from a few years ago that called specifically for
37:32
Sunday rest so that we can preserve our common home the planet and we can all celebrate the eukarist together. This is
37:40
loaded language from Leo I 14th. And uh just as a reminder, the Jesuits were
37:45
created in the 16th century in 1540 with the specific purpose of defending and
37:51
advancing papal supremacy during the counterreformation. The Jesuits are
37:56
Rome’s response to the Protestant Reformation. The Jesuits are the Pope’s most loyal soldiers sworn to absolute
38:04
obedience to the Pope and to advance the interests of the papacy rather than any other entity on planet Earth. When Pope
38:11
Leo I 14th summoned the Jesuit leaders four weeks ago to renew their mission of quote reconciliation, solidarity, and
38:18
ecological conversion. We must recognize that this is a renewed call for the Jesuits to embrace their
38:25
original purpose to restore the spiritual dominion of Rome and to lead the world back into unity under papal
38:32
authority. Sister White writes about the Jesuits in great controversy. She said, “The order of the Jesuits was created.
38:39
It was their studied aim to secure wealth and power to be devoted to the overthrow of Protestantism and the
38:46
reestablishment of the papal supremacy. End quote. Great controversy there. Page
38:51
234. And yet today,
38:58
just this very weekend in Bellum in Brazil, Adra and the Jesuits are working
39:04
together for the common good to preserve our common home.
39:11
This is on the internet. These are the press releases you read from ADRA and the interropuropean division celebrating
39:18
the fact that Adventists and Jesuits have found common cause.
39:25
I’m not making this up. This is on the internet for anybody to see. Now
39:30
parallel to the papacy and the Jesuits. Among the 5,400 NOS’s with consultative
39:37
status with the EOS at the UN is the Lucis or Lucas Trust um short for
39:44
Lucifer. Alice Bailey was a world famous occultist. She was a disciple of Theosophy and she founded what was then
39:51
known as the Lucifer Publishing Company, later called the Lucis Trust. and Alice
39:57
Bailey promoted the UN as a vehicle for everybody to work together for the common good from an occultist’s
40:04
perspective. The Lucist Trust openly admits this. There’s their website there
40:11
and it says there on their website, it says the Lucist Trust has consultative status with the Economic and Social
40:17
Council of the United Nations and World Goodwill, that’s a subsidiary NGO of the Lucus Trust is recognized by the
40:24
Department of Global Communications at the UN as a non-governmental organization. Since their inception,
40:30
Lucas Trust and World Goodwill have given their support through mediation, educational materials and seminars by
40:38
highlighting the importance of the UN goals and activities. End quote. So we
40:43
ask ourselves, how is it that um Satan worshippers and Jesuits and Adventists
40:50
find common cause? It raises a I mean, how is that
40:56
possible? Through our consultative NGO status at the UN, we sit alongside and work in
41:05
common cause with the papacy, the antichrist of prophecy, which is empowered by Satan himself. And we are
41:12
collaborating with the Jesuits to preserve our common home. Their primary purpose is the destruction of our
41:18
Protestant faith. And we’re collaborating with open occultists who are devoted to a false Christ and the
41:24
worship of Satan himself. This is the problem we face through our alliance with the United Nations. It’s not that
41:31
we join the not just we join the UN to influence the world. What is happening and there’s a lot more information
41:37
coming out in the next month on this because people behind the scenes have been doing this research. More and more
41:42
of our statements which all started coming out after we became affiliated with the UN. Our statements increasingly
41:49
are channeling UN language, UN ideology and UN terminology.
41:56
So we’re not influencing the world. The world is influencing us. That’s the problem here. So what does do
42:03
we have any spiritual guidance on this matter? Yeah. So if we look at the UN and spirit
42:09
of prophecy, I’ll just start out with one Bible verse here to start off with. You shall make no covenant with them and
42:15
their gods. This was God’s warning to his people as they were about to enter the promised land. God warned his people
42:22
against entering into a formal alliance with the nations around them. At no
42:28
point in in Old Testament history or in New Testament history did God ever
42:34
counsel his people to enter into an alliance with the pagan nations around them. It was they were never given that
42:41
instructions. Not once. And yet in Joshua chapter 1 that within within the
42:47
first chapter in fact turn your Bibles to Joshua chapter 1. As soon as they enter the promised land, that’s exactly
42:53
what they do. And uh as as they enter the promised
42:59
land, um they’re driving out the nations before them. But in Joshua chapter 1 and
43:06
verse 22, this is where they make their first covenant. And it’s the start of their problems. It’s a sorry, sorry,
43:13
Judges, my apologies. Judges chapter 1. Judges chapter one.
43:20
Uh so Judges chapter 1 verse 22 it says there the house of Joseph also went up
43:26
against Bethl. This is Judges 1 and verse 22. And the Lord was with them.
43:32
The house of Joseph sent out spies to Bethl. The name of the city was formerly Luz. When the spies saw a man coming out
43:39
of the city, they said to him, “Show us the way into the city and we will deal
43:44
with you.” My version says kindly.
43:50
That is that word means covenant faithful in the Hebrew. They made a covenant with
43:58
the people of the land. So it says so he showed them the way into the city and they put the city to
44:04
the sword but they let the man and his family go. And in Judges chapter 2 verse one it
44:11
says the angel of the Lord went up from Gilgal to Bockim and said verse one of chapter 2 I have brought you up from
44:17
Egypt and brought you into the land that I promised your ancestors. I said I will never break my covenant with you. For
44:24
your part do not make a covenant with the inhabitants of their land. This land tear down their altars but you have not
44:31
obeyed my commands. See what you have done. And because of this, the angel of the
44:36
Lord says, “So now I say unto you, I will not drive them out before you, but they shall become adversaries to you,
44:42
and their gods will be a snare to you.” And so
44:49
when the God’s people were about to enter the promised land, the text on the screen, Exodus 22:32, God said, “Do not
44:55
make an alliance with the nations of the land because they’re under God’s judgment.”
45:02
Satan came down to earth with great wrath because he knows that his time is short. He’s under God’s judgment. The
45:09
papacy is the man of sin is under God’s judgment. Daniel 7:13-14, the destruction of that fourth beast.
45:16
And yet, by virtue of all meeting around the same table at the UN, committing ourselves to the same goals, we find
45:24
ourselves working in alliance with powers that are opposed to God and already stand condemned by God.
45:30
mercy. So what does the spirit of prophecy say about this? Testimonies to the church volume 7
45:38
uh page 84 says this. God has warned his people not to unite with the world. Those who join
45:46
themselves to worldly confederacies are binding up with the enemy of God and truth.
45:54
Then we come to selective messages book two page 129.
46:00
It says, “God will never lead his followers to take upon themselves vows that will unite them with men who have
46:06
no connection with God.” Do Satan worshippers have no connection
46:11
with God? Yes. So why do we bind ourselves into an
46:17
alliance with those who have no connection with God? Spirit of prophecy says God will never lead his followers
46:22
into such a union. It is impossible for those who make the law of God the light
46:28
the rule of life to unite in confidence and cordial brotherhood with those who turn the truth of God into a lie.
46:35
Between the worldly man and the one who is faithfully serving God, there is a great gulf fixed. You cannot serve God
46:43
and mammon. So it is impossible to serve in cordial
46:48
alliance and to work in harmony with people who are fundamentally opposed to God.
46:54
It’s as simple as that. Fundamentals of Christian education, page 482. She says this, “The Lord
47:02
desires his people to remain distinct from the world in spirit and in purpose. Never are they to be bound by promises
47:08
that restrict freedom to proclaim the truth for this time.”
47:14
Yet, we take money from USAD. And the the most important uh qualifier
47:20
for that is you’re not allowed to share the gospel if you take our money. But we take the money and we take money from UN
47:27
agencies all around the world for refugee work in particular on the condition that we do not share present
47:34
truth for this time. It’s what we do all the time.
47:43
The purpose of God, the people of God are to stand. This is from Gospel Workers 391. The people of God are to
47:50
stand as a distinct separate people not taking part in political strife or worldly confederacies.
47:58
Then she goes in in the next quote here, any confederacy with the world is
48:04
strictly forbidden by the scriptures. God would have his people distinct from all confederacies. Amen.
48:11
I mean, I’m not sure how much more clear the spirit of prophecy could be for God’s people in the end times,
48:18
particularly when you consider that when the mark of the beast is imposed, the UN will be at the heart of the system
48:24
that’s implementing it worldwide. And the last quote here from the spirit
48:29
of prophecy. Now and ever we are to stand as a
48:35
distinct and peculiar people free from all worldly policy unmbarrassed by comp
48:41
unmbarrassed by a confederacy with those who have not wisdom to discern the claims of God so plainly set forth in
48:48
his law. We are to be a distinct and a peculiar people.
48:54
We’re not to be embarrassed by entering into confederacies with those who deny the claims of God in particular who seek
49:01
to change the law of God. Yet we are an alliance with the UN which
49:08
is filled with Hindu nations, Buddhist nations, Muslim nations, um Luciferians,
49:13
occultists and the papacy. And the net effect of that was seen in
49:19
the pandemic where the church subordinated your liberty of conscience
49:25
to our desire to maintain um in the good favors of the fallen worldly system.
49:32
So let’s ask ourselves the questions about this UN shall we? 2 Corinthians
49:39
6:15-18 is a is a good starting point here.
49:45
What agreement does Christ have with Belia? What agreement does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement
49:52
has the temple of God with idols? For as we for we are the temple of the living God, as God said, I will live in them
49:59
and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people. Therefore, come out from them and be
50:05
separate from them, sayeth the Lord, and touch nothing unclean. Then I will welcome you, and I will be your father,
50:11
and you shall be my sons and daughters, sayaeth the Lord God. And that phrase word there then this is conditional. God
50:19
will welcome us and be our father and we will be his children. That word then means when we come out from union with
50:26
the unholy around us. You follow the logic there? Praise the Lord.
50:31
This is a conditional promise. God does not say I have a remnant movement and I
50:37
will always bless them regardless of how many alliances they make with the ungodly.
50:43
God says, “My people will not enter alliances with the ungodly because they are my people and they and I will be
50:49
their God.” So this alliance with the UN raises profound questions for us today.
50:58
The alliance causes an erosion of the separation of church and state because
51:03
God’s remnant movement, once called to stand apart, increasingly mirrors the priorities of the world and of Babylon
51:10
in health, education, the environment, and the denial of liberty of conscience.
51:16
Increasingly, if you want to know what God’s remnant movement think about something, look to the UN press
51:22
releases, not to the word of God. The alliance is causing a shift in in
51:27
emphasis. If you do a systematic and longitudinal study from 1985 to 2025 of
51:34
all 59 statements on the general conference website and all the other things they’ve issued, they show a
51:39
significant shift in language. We’ve shifted from prophetic proclamation of the three angels messages now to
51:45
humanitarian language. The alliance with the United Nations is preparing us for
51:50
the final deception. By walking hand in hand and in harmony with the UN, we are
51:57
in harmony with the Antichrists, with the Jesuits, and with the cultists. And they risks conditioning the members to
52:04
accept endtime unity under a false Christ. So we may ask ourselves, why has
52:09
not a single UGC leader since 1985 spoken up against this Babylonian
52:14
partnership? Amen. Why has nobody raised a voice of protest? I was raised in the church. I
52:20
had no idea this existed until after CO we all started digging a bit more
52:26
and we realize, yeah, there’s something not right here. And CO was a blessing
52:31
from God in some ways because it’s opened our eyes and it’s causing us to ask hard questions and say, why are
52:37
things the way they are? The people of Israel could not take possession of the promised land because
52:43
of the sin of Achen. Yes. And when we’re in an alliance with the Antichrist and the Jesuits and a
52:49
cultists, how can we take possession of the spirit of the land? Because this sin is at the heart of our movement.
52:56
This alliance is causing a shift in emphasis. We ask ourselves, why has not a single leader in our world church
53:03
spoken up against this Babylonian partnership? Is it due to ignorance? Are they not aware of this? That’s not the
53:09
case. Because the new PAL director for the general conference, his job for the last 10 years was the UN liaison based
53:16
in New York. They know exactly all about this alliance with the United Nations. And yet he got through the nominating
53:21
committee process to be the new public affairs and religious liberty director for the general conference.
53:28
That doesn’t give me any confidence that somebody who is tied to the UN and
53:33
to everything that goes with it is now theoretically defending our liberty of conscience. This is the fox guarding the
53:40
hen house is the qu we may ask the question are they not speaking up out of fear
53:48
maybe of loss of jobs maybe they won’t be considered on the inroup anymore
53:54
then what kind of shepherds are these leaders who will not risk their reputation to defend the flock
53:59
or is it because they’re in agreement with the union then how can our GC
54:05
leaders claim that we are the remnant movement of God while aligning our church with institutions that are rooted
54:12
in the occult and guided by the antichrist. How can that be?
54:17
James 4:4 says this on the screen. Adulterers, do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with
54:24
God? Therefore, whoever wishes to be a friend of the world becomes a what of God?
54:29
Enemy of God. Our official alliance with the United Nations representing the
54:35
kings of this world and all their fallen beliefs and false gods represents enmity
54:40
with God. And it’s hurt the members profoundly in the last 5 years and the flow of
54:47
statements from the United Nations increasingly reflects the priorities and values and language of the United
54:53
Nations. And after a while you have to say um buy a beware for people who are
54:59
joining the advent movement. Buyer, beware. Understand what you’re getting into.
55:05
This is what we say and this is what our leaders are doing. Something has to
55:11
change. So, our time is up. We need to come to our conclusions here this morning. The
55:16
remnant church of God was not raised to court favor with the powers of Babylon, but to bear faithful witness to God,
55:23
even if despised by the world, and to call people out of Babylon. And the GC’s
55:29
partnership with the UN since 1985 never once voted by the members or the constituents ever represents a betrayal
55:37
of our God-given calling. The General Conference of St. the Adventists, the visible head of God’s
55:43
remnant church, has entered into a partnership with the UN, an institution bound up with occult philosophy,
55:50
Luciferian ideals, Jesuit activism, and Satan himself. And so this message this
55:56
morning is a warning for all for all of us to open our eyes to measure our leaders actions by the word of God and
56:03
to call for our worldwide movement to stand separate from the Babylon that we are currently joined to. So what can we
56:10
do about this? Well, the first thing I would say is this. We need to ask our leaders and we have there’s a letter
56:16
went last week. It’s on the internet now that the GCI should take the steps to immediately cancel the ECOS consultative
56:24
NGO status for itself for ADRA and the IRLA. We cannot be tied to the
56:29
antichrist or to any organization tied to occultism and we cannot subordinate the Adventist message to what the UN
56:36
determines is in the general welfare of world society. The second thing is we can learn from
56:42
history one the JWs the Jehovah’s Witnesses they once registered their leadership they
56:48
registered as consultative NGO status with the UN but when the members heard about it there was an uprising and they
56:54
so pressured their leaders that the leaders withdrew from consultative NGO status with the United Nations.
57:01
Now, we have theological disagreements with the JWs, but they were the most solid opponents of Adolf Hitler in Nazi
57:07
Germany, not the Adventists. And their members understand that union
57:13
with the UN is a spiritual compromise from their perspective, and so should we.
57:18
And if the members of the Jehovah’s Witnesses rose up and said to their leaders, cancel this agreement. If the
57:24
Jehovah’s Witnesses could do it, why can’t God’s remnant people do it as well? We need to stand up and learn from
57:30
history. And we need to demand faithfulness to our message from our leaders. The third thing is going to get
57:35
me into a lot of trouble and I say this, withdraw blind support.
57:41
Faithfulness to Christ comes before loyalty to any institution. I want to encourage you to remain
57:47
faithful in tithing. And here in Northern New England, you have a great conference. Okay? And I’ve been returning my tithe
57:53
to Northern New England because this is a bastion for truth and liberty of conscience.
57:59
Okay? However, our financial and moral support should not be given without accountability and transparency. In our
58:06
division today, some conferences issue statements celebrating political murder.
58:11
Other conferences platform radical leftist and Muslim politicians in their pullpits on Sabbath morning for campaign
58:17
rallies. Others greenlight preachers to promote the normalization of the LGBTQ lifestyle in our church. Others
58:24
undermine the worldwide body by implementing world women’s ordination. Still others ban preachers of
58:30
righteousness and Bible faithful preachers. I’m tempted to say something here.
58:38
My view is the woke, the progressive, the biblically and spiritually compromised conferences should wither on
58:44
the vine and we should be supporting conference leaders and conferences who contend for the faith that has been
58:50
passed on to us. Fourthly, I want to encourage you to stand up and speak out.
58:57
Every believer has a duty to contend for the faith. Jude verse three. Silence in
59:02
the face of apostasy equals consent. Raise these matters with your pastor. They may not be happy with you, but
59:08
raise them anyway. Raise them with your conference president and ask for spiritual accountability and
59:14
reformation. If the JWs can do this, so can we.
59:21
And finally, most importantly, in all these discussions about
59:27
organizational alliances and in official statements and universal declaration of human rights, what really matters is our
59:34
need for a return to primitive godliness. Amen. We need a revival of personal primitive
59:40
godliness, beginning with myself and expanding to all of us here today. Sister White wrote this in page 464. And
59:48
this is where we’re living now. before the final visitation of God’s judgments upon the earth. That is before the close
59:54
of probation, before the seven final plagues fall, and that is where we are today. Before the final visitation of
1:00:00
God’s judgments upon the earth, there will be among the people of the Lord such a revival of primitive godliness as
1:00:07
has not been witnessed since apostolic times. The spirit and power of God will be poured out upon his children. Amen.
1:00:16
And so these are these matters that we’ve been discussing. We can argue about policy. We can argue about budgets. We can argue about alliances.
1:00:22
We can argue about the United Nations. But what really matters is a revival of primitive godliness in my home, in my
1:00:29
family, around my hearth, and in your home, and in your heart as well. Amen. And when I and we as members take
1:00:36
responsibility for cleaning out our lives and cleaning up our lives and standing
1:00:42
up for the Lord in every way possible in our lives and seeking to live and walk in the light and have fellowship with
1:00:47
him who is light and have no fellowship with works of darkness in our own personal lives, then the Holy Spirit
1:00:53
will be poured out in a way we’ve never seen before. Amen. So I want to encourage you if nothing else from our talk here this morning is
1:01:00
to when uh from this day forward to take ever more seriously than me more seriously than ever before your personal
1:01:06
encounter with the living God. He is holy. He is just. He is righteous. He is worthy of our worship on a daily basis.
1:01:13
And we can put our trust in him to fix all the problems of the world around us. Just in my devotions on Thursday before
1:01:19
I flew here, I read through the Bible every year. I’m on 2 Chronicles right now. And this is what Hezekiah Hezekiah
1:01:26
said to the people of Israel when they were surrounded by the Assyrians and the armies uh that had come to invade and
1:01:31
attack Jerusalem and the armies of Assyria were mocking the people of God and saying, “Do you think your God can
1:01:37
save you? The other gods of nations couldn’t save them. Jehovah cannot save you.” And this is what Hezekiah said to
1:01:43
the people. He said, “Be strong and of good courage.” 2 Chronicles 32:7, “Be
1:01:48
strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid or dismayed before the king of Assyria and all the horde of UN nations
1:01:54
that is with him. They just said horde actually in the Hebrew. It doesn’t say United Nations, but you understand my point. Do not for all the horde that is
1:02:01
with him. For there is one greater with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh, but with us
1:02:08
is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.
1:02:13
The battles are fierce, but the battles belong to the Lord. Lord, I want to encourage you today. You
1:02:19
see the thing things I’ve challenged us to do here on the screen
1:02:24
to ask our leaders to withdraw from the UN. Yes. To follow the example of the JWS and say
1:02:29
we as members do not accept this union with the world. To give to return faithful tithes, but also to demand
1:02:36
accountability to stand up and speak out however and whenever we can. and starting in my own
1:02:42
home every morning and every night to be down on my knees asking for the spirit of Christ to guide me that day.
1:02:49
Amenise God. Praise to God. And to the extent that as individuals
1:02:54
we take responsibility for our own spiritual lives and our own spiritual growth. Yes, the battle is fierce, but
1:03:00
the battle belongs to God. May God give us victory in the battles that are coming our way. Amen.
1:03:06
Amen. Invite you to bow your heads and we’ll have a word of prayer. Uh heavenly father,
1:03:12
we thank you for uh the light you’ve given us in scripture. We thank you for the blessings of the spirit of prophecy.
1:03:18
And Lord, we know we’re living in troubled times. Father, we know that there are wheat and tears within the
1:03:24
harvest field itself. And Father, we humbly ask that you so change us and shape us and mold us and make us that we
1:03:30
are counted not among the tears but among the wheat. I pray, Father, that from our lives there will be a harvest
1:03:36
of righteousness um that will shine for eternity in that final harvest. And so,
1:03:41
Lord, I ask that uh you take these matters we’ve been talking about that you will bring conviction upon our
1:03:47
leaders to do the right thing. I pray Lord that we can stand distinct um
1:03:52
unsullied by confederacy with the heathen and that uh the gospel message will go forth with with purity and with
1:04:00
clarity and without compromise and without consideration of financial consequences. Oh father, may the gospel
1:04:06
of the good news of salvation go forward to the ends of the earth. Lord, may we not be in union with the king kings of
1:04:12
this world, but may the gospel go to all of their people and win as many people for Christ before he returns in the
1:04:18
clouds of glory. So I pray, Lord, that we will be faithful in our portion of the vineyard where you’ve called us to
1:04:24
serve. And until Jesus comes again, we ask for the infilling of your spirit. We ask for the transformation that only
1:04:30
your spirit can give. We ask for the protection of your angels. We ask for divine encounters even this week that we
1:04:37
may share um the good news of salvation with our neighbors and our friends. And Lord, may all know that there is a God
1:04:43
in Israel because this group of believers here this morning are filled with your Holy Spirit.
1:04:49
So Father, we give our lives, we give our homes, our hearts, our marriages, and our hearts into your hands today
1:04:54
asking you to do immeasurably more for us than anything we can begin to imagine. We thank you in advance for
1:05:00
these miracles. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.
